Got 4 ma self, all in good nick. Entered 4 races including Messac and got tickets in the other 3 entered Eastbourne X2 Ypres and Marlborough which was my best result in the National this year.

I also thought the new Region proposals would have brought about more discussion but until we see it in front of us it'll be difficult to make an informed opinion on it.

ANY CLEVER GUYS ON HERE WHO CAN POST A MAP OF THE PROPOSED NEW REGIONS??......... I know i canny

It would give us something to discuss before the meeting

john it would be good to start a new thread about region proposals for the SNFC it would just get lost on this one

Spot on frank think it's time that your post code put you in the right section not joining a club just to fly in a section of the snfc

You dinnae have to worry about it George you'll have the furthest East loft in the West :emoticon-0136-giggle:

aye Cambuslang club will be in West section

part of Blantyre will be in mid West not sure what section I would be in

the SNFC has been established now for over 100 years, right?

so why now when there are less memebers and less doos being entered would anyone want to start splitting up sections??? :emoticon-0138-thinking:

My thinking exactly Wullie, it would be better served getting rid of a, b, c, etc and go back to North South East and West Sections, i know i'll be voting against this new proposal at the meeting. What i canny figure out for the life of me is WHY ???

Think i know where you are coming from John, if i'm right i'm disappointed to say the least, carving up the sections to accommodate a few would imo be the beginning of the End!!

nothing changes john, does not matter what you do and how you slice it good bits and bad bits in every section which will always be the same!!!!! the only way would be to put everybody in a section of their own. :D :D

maybe need to wait to hear the proposer but for the life of me cant see anything good in it

the boys in Ayrshire get it hard enough now we are going to make it even harder by adding more Lanarkshire lofts to there section

as for the furthest east section must be lucky to have 50 lofts in it

I think if the new section proposals go through the only winner will be the SNRPC!!!

comes up every year alf always a sore point, especially when he turns up late for the agm!!!!!!!! :partick-thistle-Crest:

dont think its the right way to go why dont they put it back to what it was .south, east, west, north and do away with all them regions

the fairest thing is to pick an area on the southcoast of england

somewhere in the middle and take measurements from there

any loft flying under say 350 miles is in sec A

FROM 350 TO 380 SEC B

FROM 380 TO 410 SEC C

FROM 410 TO 440 SEC D

FROM 440 UPWARDS SEC E

THESE DISTANCES ARE ONLY A GUIDE AS SECTIONS MAY BE BIGGER OR SMALLER

BUT THE PIONT USED FOR CALCULATION WOULD BE SET IN STONE

AND APPLY FOR ALL NATIONAL RACES

THERE SHOULD BE NO CONSIDERATION TAKEN FOR EAST OR WEST FLYING OR CENTRAL

SECTIONS SHOULD BE BASED TOTALY ON DISTANCE TO FLY

AS THE WIND WEATHER CHANGES ALL THE TIME AND EVERYONE GETS A BITE AT THE CHERRY

AT SOMETIME

THE PRODOMINENT WEST WINDS ARE NOT SO PRODOMINENT THESE DAYS

JUST LOOK AT THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS WEVE HAD A LOT OF BIRDS REPORTED IN IRELAND

IN NATIONAL RACES DUE TO EAST WINDS
