sapper756 Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 SPAIN V SCOTLANDScotland manager Craig Levein will delay naming his team to play Spain in their final Euro 2012 qualifier until Tuesday morning due to injury concerns in his squad. Striker Kenny Miller is still struggling with a groin complaint which kept him out of Saturday's 1-0 win over Liechtenstein in Vaduz, a result which means a victory over the world and European champions in Alicante will guarantee the Scots a play-off place. Craig Mackail-Smith who scored his first goal in his first start for Scotland, has a back problem, skipper Darren Fletcher suffered an ankle knock and Barry Bannon had to have a cut on his Achilles glued together. Should both Miller and Mackail-Smith fail to make it, Blackburn's David Goodwillie will play the lone-striker's role. When asked about injuries, the Scotland boss said: "Where to start? "The most doubtful will be Kenny. He hasn't improved from Friday until today. "I'm not definitely ruling him out but he would be the most doubtful. Tests"Darren Fletcher and Craig Mackail-Smith will do a little bit today and will have fitness tests tomorrow. "I am more hopeful with those two than Kenny but as yet I can't give any definitive answer. "Barry will do a little bit today. His problem is whether he can get his boot on so it doesn't open up the injury again, it is in an awkward place. "We are hopeful that we can put some sort of padding or strapping that will prevent it from opening up tomorrow. "It is very difficult when there are so many important players who are doubtful. So it will be tomorrow before I find out." http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/scotland.gifC,MON THE SCOTS

VAGIN Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 I was a scottish footy fan $0 years ago, but lets be honest we are pure mince and we have been for years We invented the game now others have to give us lessons how to play it As for the manager if you have played for Dundee united you certain to get a game Its all a big JOKE but he still get 150k a year for what I ask myself ( PURE MINCe )
Roland Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 I will be supporting Scotland like any good Brit will be. 'Come on you Jocks' What a result a win would be eh! And never say never! If the land of individuals play as a team, gell, what with their’ natural tenacious nature. If and Spain take their’ foot of the pedal - for they are in reality a first class act and as good as any team in the world - if not better at present, then yes there may well be a shock result. Here’s hoping!
Guest lambrechts31 Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 :scotland: SPAIN ARE WORLD AND EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS THEY HAVE A GREAT TEAM FILLED WITH GREAT INDIVIDUAL PLAYERS SO I ASK YOU GUYS CAN WE BEAT THEM YES YES YES NO PROBLEM :scotland: :egyptian:
Roland Posted October 11, 2011 Report Posted October 11, 2011 Don't want no excuses if the Jocks wipe the floor with them lol. There may well be there to be beaten ... but make no mistake any side that does with have to give 110% and yes a little luck... But then every winner needs the fluke, or the ball to run for them at some stage. Would be over the moon if the jocks beat them.
