derek in fauldhouse club when we joined they split the club into sections east and west pools and open pools the boys in west hardly bet in open the furtherest flyer only getting about 3 mile

Derek, everybody around me except Hoody are in section F and we cant get in it.Double standards that are rife in the pigeon sport today.By the way, the SHU will do nothing about discrimination in the sport, its pathetic. Maybe the sections will be decided by local authority soon :emoticon-0138-thinking:

If the first North birds were flying in the same batch of pigeons as the frist Angus birds then they arrived at the time you would expect them to.

I agree the velocities were dropping as they come up country. North did well last year but the wind strengthened on the way up

you cant have split liberations if you go down tht road you need two transporters then who gets libbed first it is then not a national just another race you cant liberate birds with the other birds on the same motor they go crazy in the baskets as they know what happening

Posted

yes mate but we e not talking of anything like the birdage of the unc and what would be the split be ?

All i am saying is it can still be a national with a split liberation. We have our national this week after been delayed looks like going thurs for a fri lib maidstone

not in faviour of split libs for any of our national races

if the first lib are up and away 15 or 30 minutes later lib 2 goes

lib 1 is away and on the way home lib 2 hits rain and goes to ground or has to detour by miles to get round it

or the otherway round and lib 1 hits rain

to my thinking they are both flying 2 differant races

with possibly 2 differant weather conditions enroute

So your saying its not fair to have split libs? Is it fair not to, especially the yb nat

Everyone has different ideas human nature i suppose however because of this nothing will change and these posts/debates will continue for the next 30 years

Your right m8

derek your prob right in the fact that the returns would be better in a normal race

with all the west and south west birds going together

and the southeast ,east and north going together

a lot less of the birds getting dragged all over the place

but im saying how can it be 1 race when both libs might be facing

diff conditions on the way home

not just weather there might be clashing with one of the libs

example 1 half has great returns near 100% the next half

gets slaughtered with hardly any birds home
