Where are you racing from this weekend?

How far is it to your loft?

GOOD LUCKhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0137-clapping.gif

I would love to be racing this week and indeed next week but after last Sundays race from Cheltenham the seasons over.

The Federation, whats left of it will be going to Marlborough.

If any of you good fanciers out there live anywhere near to this race point and have any Cumbrian pigeons or Scottish I personally would be very grateful if you could get them to our transporter to be repatriated to us poor souls up North.

Living in hope,a rather depressed fancier.

Hi Steve, yes it was that bad mate,my mate in Workington 4/27 others 8/35, 7/26. most fanciers in the same boat as to speak.Myself 3/11 all yearlings birds I expected to put over the water did not return.

Here's an email I received from the fed sac. who also took a hammering.

"michael cape from victoria club is travelling to anglesey on friday to pick up birds that have been reported from the cheltenham race

if any one wants a bird picked up if they forward me ring No. full details of address, including post code, i will see he gets the information".

There will be a small charge to cover costs, wish he'd been fetching me a couple back.
