walterbmasson Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 what has no 8 achieved at the distance looks the part
Delboy Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 No 8 is Waterside Peggy, champion yb and champion ob. She won 1st west section , 1st hen timed 5th open SNFC Gold cup Liege flying the furthest north west in her section in a west/s.west wind. She won 2 x S.H.U Awards and the coveted Annie Bowes trophy. A superb racer BUT an even better stock pigeon. Her children/ g.children have won almost 60 SNFC Diplomas, including 1st sect yb national, 2nd sect Gold cup Alencon, etc etc. These g.children include Spider , who won a Silver Award last year.Peggys grandmother was Lady Linda, she was 7th Open Snfc Sartilly and had 2 x 2nd, 1 x 3rd reg F. She was a great breeder also. Peggy also bred 9 individual 1st prize winners in club / fed.The complete all rounder and worth her weight in gold.
walterbmasson Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 yes derick say no more but just looking at he ozes class why more didnt see class in her amazes me but i did think she would have got more votes than she got i am no magican but i thought no 7 and 10 came from the same loft i would think just looking at them they were to full in wings to go further than 450 miles jmo whats other fanciers view with these 2 pigeons just for a bit o banter
THE FIFER Posted March 19, 2011 Author Report Posted March 19, 2011 could I ask to just be careful when discussing the winning bird as this bird still has the BIS class to go in yet,
tiger Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 could I ask to just be careful when discussing the winning bird as this bird still has the BIS class to go in yet, thread should be locked, or at least till bis is judged, imo
