ovy1255 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 every person if they are in the boundary or your club is their nearest within you fed should have the right to membership unless he has been deemed as unfinanchial[spelt wrong]owes money to previous club or has been deemed undesirable -not just because he is loud or because he will quote rules but because of a reason that may bring the club into disrepute.it takes all sorts and rules apply to everyone not just the guys in the click, and if someone isnt doing their turn put a rota on.

dal2 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 Some boundaries gan roon lamposts and divide roads in half so think they should be regulated in some way by the unions?
walterbmasson Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 just the 2 well you no what i mean even 3 min for a mile being sports surly your members would allow that even a parasite deserves that
duncandoo Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 if any club has had a lottery grant, they cannot refuse membership to anybody as far as i have been led to beleive??????

ovy1255 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 i agree clubs should not poach members outside their boundary and no boundaries should overlap but if your mother club allows you to join another club for racing reasons and as long as you stay a member of the mother club well this is up for debate, with modern ets raceing in more than one club is easy and some clubs put limits on number of birds entered for club positions so big team men feel the need to join more than one club.and some clubs have ets systems in abundance where others have none so is it worth joining the second club so you can avail yourself of a free ets system.they would only collect dust in the club HQ

ovy1255 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 maybe this guy should take up another hobby like falconry? or join the rspb or start a breeding centre for birds of prey.jokeing aside its time all unions look at this -this was one of the reasons that clubs within the rpra where refused lottery grants.
novo10 Posted December 20, 2010 Author Report Posted December 20, 2010 agree if you are living in the area with a local club you should be able to race there other clubs outside your area should not be taken your membersthis club should be ashamed of themselfs
frank-123 Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 i joined burnbank club when i had a loft in burnbank i moved to blantyre why should i join blantyre as i am still in burnbank's boundarymy choice to stay with a club well run and friendly and going from strength to strength

PIGEON_MAN Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 someone who causes trouble in a club eg threatening behaviouror a member who was known to be work shy on basketing nighteg- turning up at the death every week when all the works doneand im not an about them struggling due to work commitmentsif you had a club that was running smoothly would you honestly accept a new member knowing that he or she was going to cause arguments in your club and possibly cause a few exsisting members to move to other clubsor even worse leave the sportCouldnt have put it better myself, how good a fancier is who wants to join doesnt even come into it but a known troublemaker as mentioned above NO WAY.
geordie1234 Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 as im looking to join my first club next year what should your duties be as a club member like where and when is it ur place to help out
wullie semple Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 i joined burnbank club when i had a loft in burnbank i moved to blantyre why should i join blantyre as i am still in burnbank's boundarymy choice to stay with a club well run and friendly and going from strength to strength frank this is the problem other clubs should not cross in to other areas if you stay in blantyre you should race in your local club
Guest homestead Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 what about members who only fly to enhance there sales but when they have an off day refuse to have there clocks read. Yes its up to them but gives the rest of the club false possitions. 3 clubs have folded locally over the years through back biting, slackers and trouble makers so whats the answer? just keep your head down and enjoy your racing.
Guest KING BILLY Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 whe have sections in our fed and at big races whe centrel mark in time it will be one club per section problem solved you will be flying for section prices and fed prices gon will be all the smale clubs in each section and the bigest club will prosper cambesnethin will be one who have already opend its bounderes to let hand picked members in
Guest IB Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 if any club has had a lottery grant, they cannot refuse membership to anybody as far as i have been led to beleive?????? I've heard that one too, and on the face of it that just can't be right because folk can't be forced to keep company with someone they don't want to. I know one club with a lottery grant that was told during the application stage that anyone with a bad reputation need not be given club membership provided it is a club decision. In other words, to make sure no one individual can keep another individual out.
