PIGEON_MAN Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 It is the right of every club who they let in and who they dont, but I agree some will refuse membership because the flyer might be a very good one, then again there are fanciers who seem to cause trouble wherever they go and clubs dont need them at any price.

JohnQuinn Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 IMO, if a fancier is WITHIN the boundary of a club, the club should be OBLIGED to let the fancier in. If a fancier does NOT live within the club boundary, then they ought to go and apply to the club who's boundary they do fall within. Club boundaries are in place for very good reasons, Unrelated to spite or victimisation, and all fanciers should respect this.

Blue Chequer Pied Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 May I ask what is deemed to be a trouble maker? Somebody that wins more than their share
robbiedoo. Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 The ruin of the sport, JEALOUSY, nothing more got to agree with you derek . from my own personal opinion the better a standard a flier i fly against the better for me as a fanceir . derek i would love you to move up here and see if you could handle it in the far north
budgie Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 It happens in our Federation as well due to location, location and prevailing winds.
robbiedoo. Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 It happens in our Federation as well due to location, location and prevailing winds. has it nothing to do with the 2%

Yes i do have experience of a trouble maker, it was me they made trouble for and hounded me out of the ONLY club i had ever raced in, there are more than one kind of trouble maker, the worst are usually those already amongst you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DJWa Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 May I ask what is deemed to be a trouble maker?someone who causes trouble in a club eg threatening behaviouror a member who was known to be work shy on basketing nighteg- turning up at the death every week when all the works doneand im not an about them struggling due to work commitmentsif you had a club that was running smoothly would you honestly accept a new member knowing that he or she was going to cause arguments in your club and possibly cause a few exsisting members to move to other clubsor even worse leave the sport
novo10 Posted December 20, 2010 Author Report Posted December 20, 2010 :emoticon-0138-thinking:this guy sorted their roof a couple of years ago when their club rof was knackered
yeboah Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 We have a new member who has recently moved into our area and by all accounts a top fancier ,he will be welcomed in at our agm with open arms ,it is then up to the rest of us to raise our standards if we are unable to beat the new member he then obviously has a better system and most definitely better birds, our club is spread over many many miles in all directions but that does not stop us all taking our share of the red card ,as someone once told me if your not winning just look in the mirror and ask yourself why .
Guest Glen Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 To not allow someone into a club because they are a good flyer is poor sportsmanship and disgraceful. The whole point of the game is to compete against top notch fanciers. If a person is a trouble maker or pain in the ass, it might be because they don,t fit into a certain little "click" or group in the club. If a person is really un-fit to participate then it should be up to the union to ban them.
peter dempsey Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 this is one of my PET HATES I have never seen a good reason for refusing a good flyer in to any cluband I believe that RPRA IHU and all other pigeon racing bodies should show some bottle and bring in some form af rule to deal with this, if and when it arisesthe sport of pigeon racing is dying a death because of these clubs banning good flyers ? as was said on here have a good look in the mirror and ask ???? why you voted to keep a fancier out ? was it because he is a good flyeron the other hand if someone is always causing friction and Arguments then the club would have every right to dissmiss the culpritpeacfull Christmass to allpeter
walterbmasson Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 has it nothing to do with the 2% it would be a good idea ta give jakie the 2% or add a couple of min onto his time after clocking in i think he would jump at that cheers walter
