Last week, staff were down from 3 to 1 due to holidays & sickness. Not sure how 3rd member gets to work, or if she works part-time, but maybe it's weather-related transport difficulties too?

 

Also Sam McFadzean was delivering rings to Fed Delegates at December meeting, so he may still have yours. I'd try emailing the office.

Linda Brooks was in hospital and as far as I know the rings that were not picked up at the meeting on Sunday are in her house.

I don't know when Linda will be back to work but spoke to Sam on the phone and he dropped the rings off at her house after the meeting on Sunday.

I have still to get the Aberdeen rings and will get them picked up by SPDS when they are back in the office.

well alan i would say they are not young birds then they are latebreds with the next years rings on not right imo. if a pigeon carrys a 2011 ring it means it was bred in 2011 not late 2010. ANOTHER CASE OF FLAUNTING THE RULES .

I CAN REMEMBER YEARS AGO our FED SECRETARY HAD TO GO TO THE SHU OFFICE ON THE 3RD 4TH JAN TO PICK THE RINGS UP , sorry im shouting ha ha . its another case of trying to get an advantage . shocking imo.RINGS SHOULD NOT BE ISSUED TILL AT LEAST THE 1ST OF JANUARY .

thats what ive always thought surly letting rings go on in 2010 are through the moult at youhg bird national
