sapper756 Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) It's time to reflect on the 2010 season, and also to look ahead to the 2011 season. So how many 2011 rings do you plan to order for your youngsters next year?http://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif Also, is this more or less than the 2010 rings you got?Thank Youhttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif Edited September 13, 2010 by sapper756

JohnQuinn Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 This year i ordered 60 rings, for next year i have ordered 50. It has beem my intention to reduce numbers for 3 seasons now but still have the same amount to winter this year. I will be breeding later next season as i will not have any on the darkness, hopefully this will enable me to finally get to more manageable numbers!!
Ulsterman Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 got 50 this year only used 31 so will get just 30 next year though i plan to use just 20 but you never know.
Guest homestead Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 2010 20 rings.....2011 40 rings, bought some new stock and want to try them out
GRAHAM MITCHELL Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 Cutting back from 60 to 40 rings.
alex wight Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 100 rings coming my way, to help try and get a team of pigeons together that can last the pace and hopefully do some damage. Been trying for 2 years, and keep getting hammered losing 50%, and as i only had 19 to race, that left me with only 10 (not enough. This will be a one off though and then i,ll be back to 30, hopefully lol.
billt Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 probably 300 for 2011Hope your finger stuttered
kirky Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I've ordered 40.Is it correct that the RPRA rings are to be issued late December ?Lindsay.yes rings will be posted out on the 24th december, just hope thay done get lost with xmas parcels.
Guest joshdonlan Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 you need a big team for sure to compete now. Dont think you stand a chance with 20 pigeons when there people sending 80-100
Wiley Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 you need a big team for sure to compete now. Dont think you stand a chance with 20 pigeons when there people sending 80-100 Only takes one to win, been proved so many times including in this day an age when you get members sending big teams
gulkie Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 60 20 less than this year,if yb bird season runs to form in 2011by my calculations I should have no yb left by this time nextyear  Only takes one to win, been proved so many times including in this day an age when you get members sending big teams the question is what one.
billt Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 probably 300 for 2011Got to agree with Wiley on that one, All the money you'd save on not feeding all that stock would be better invested in a couple of good stock pairs
billt Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 might be about 85,000 You're a mob flier
