My federation, Fife finally begin their young bird season, we are racing fron Kelso which is 46 miles to my loft. I plan to send a team of 22 youngstershttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

East of Scotland are at Witton Castle with the Pentland Fed round about the 100 mls mark. Planning on sending 31.

Lanarkshire Fed are at Consett which is around 105 miles to the Motherwell Area.Hoping to send 50+ depending on Wee Endflights Training Regime tommorrow. :rolleyes:

Racing from Newark this weekend. 106 miles, sending up to 29, weather is not looking so good on the East coast for Saturday (fog and mist) and the fed is not going with the combine - so may have to rethink.

First race ever for me from Swainswick which i think is about 110 miles.

 

Hope to send 12 depending on the weather :rolleyes:

I,ll be sending 17 out of 19 to our much anticipated young bird race. Its a helluva wait between old and young bird racing, but hopefully it,ll be sorted out at the agm 2011.

Salisbury 96 mls to me, won't be many going had too MEGA tough races from yeovil nearly half the team gone already

planning on 47 for otterburn 84 mls ? 1st race doesn't look good for saturday fog on the coast with a NE wind sunday a much better day wind from the NW :unsure:

just had a look at the xc weather site it's now saying saturday's the best day clear by 10am with a light NW wind :unsure:

Last friday about half the members at the club said it was a good forecast for the Saturday and the other half said it wasn't :huh::huh:

 

a lot of the sites and tv forecasts are conflicting

Derbyshire NR Fed are at Scotch Corner Sat hoping for an early Lib 90 -104 miles length of Fed trying to get by U N C and Durham who are near by at Thorsby and Worksop with a lot of birds, I am Secretary & Race controller so no pressure.
