REDCHEQHEN Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 RedCheqHen, Have you sent to bourges?? I dont think they will be up till Saturday!! Even saturday has a few Isolated thunder storms!! No Steve, not sending to Bourges, Lillers was the first time over the channel for 4 cocks we had and we are sending 3 of those to Clermont. We don't as yet feel we have the birds to do that sort of distance - or have the experience to do it (them and us..!!) The weather reports have changed every day this week, we will be sending to Melton Mowbray - but it worries me that we will have a repeat of the same race from last year when we lost so many birds ( and the Bourges birds were held over )

But I do hope everyone else who had a bad race doesnt have a repeat of it. Hope the weather changes so we have a good clear'ish run for the bourges birds, as if their up on saturday, they will probably clash with all the european birds!!
