SALMO PT
Paratyphoid vaccine :- Formolvaccine for Salmonella Typhimurium var.Copenhagen for racing pigeons. 7.0 compounds :> 5x 10 PFU/Dose. The vaccine is magisterial prepared from at least 4 strains, found regularly by racing pigeons.
Description :- The compound is enough to help the pigeons to develop immunity to the disease.
Indication :- For active immunisation by racing pigeons against symptoms caused by Salmonella Typhimurium.
Treatment :- The vaccine must be injected beneath the skin in the neck. Shake the bottle well before using. Dose ½ ml per pigeon. Don’t vaccinate in infected lofts but give first a paratyphoid treatment.
Diagram :- Young pigeons : Salmo PT can be used from the age of 6 weeks. But if serious problems occur in the loft it can be done again after 3 weeks. Adult pigeons : The ideal time is after breeding and moulting and at least 3 weeks before paring. You can vaccinate each year. Racing pigeons must be vaccinated 3 weeks before racing.
Keep vaccine in the dark between +2C and +8C.
