JADE Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 Well the seed was sown earlier when J Hood? asked if joint convoying would also include going with another Scottish organisation. Top table agreed that was an option, but then the meeting slammed the door very firmly shut on that option with the RPRA / SHU vote later in the meeting: No we don't want your members to fly with us, Yes we'd like the use of your transporters to go to the same race points? Er, don't think so. the door was not "slammed in their face" all fanciers in scotland are welcome to join the snfc if they are shu members in accordance with the constitution which was overwhelmingly endorsed on saturday

Basically, the annual fee for flying in the SNFC is £37.This applies to everybody, and anybody in Scotland that pays this is very welcome to join. Anyway, I wish all organisations the very best for this coming season. Enjoy your pigeons

Guest IB Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 The accountancy fee`s were voted to go to tender !! As i was watching the accountants face when it was decided Not a happy chappie :'( :'( :'( I've got the vote jotted down as Tender 49, Status Quo 74. The accountant did give an explanation for the big increase in his fees on last year as down to one-off additional work because the club is now liable to pay Corporation Tax.
frank-123 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Posted January 21, 2009 liable to pay corparation tax?? if only we were a sport i think we would have an excemption am i correct or talking a lot of crap again

That's correct Ian the status quo won easily so just about everyone who was at the meeting's dues will be paid to the accountant : : :
hotrod Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 That's correct Ian the status quo won easily so just about everyone who was at the meeting's dues will be paid to the accountant : : : It's hard for people to change things ,status quo, thats the norm at all meetings regardless of which club it is,it does'nt matter if it's totally WRONG but it's status quo ,status quo all day mate
The Grass Cutter Posted January 22, 2009 Report Posted January 22, 2009 This posting is past its sell/buy date. Now it appears to have little credibility left, same remarks over and over again and it is now being used as a political football. Face reality decisions have been made at the SNFC AGM and both organisations must now concentrate on having a successful 2009 season. Why doesnt someone create a posting designed specifically for the members of the FORUM to insult each other instead waiting for the opportunity of highjacking other posts.
