eastcoaster Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 A pair o yb`s oot o that would do me lol the cholet hen was 11th open snfc chenoise 581ml. 2002. 60th open snfc chenoise 2003 581ml. 5th open snfc tours 2004 629ml. 3rd open snrpc cholet 2005 636ml. so this hen has been 3x in the 1st 11 in the longest nat race in 2 scotland. not many pigeons have done that

wayne77 Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 Since it doesnt say 'Scottish' I think the best is 'Max' bred by Les Grain of Huntington/Peterboough. Winner of 2 x 1st Open MNFC from over the water in 2 years. Only my opinion though. Great pigeon suppose most judge by the organisation they fly in. but auld reekie class bird

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 Fantastic pigeon and one of the best performances in the history of Scottish pigeon game.
alec guinness Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 is john ellis not got a GB rung hen that has scored every year out of the inland national with winnings of about £7,500 for the last 5 years could be mistaken but maybe another national legend john bosworth of elphinstone is the owner of the above champ! :)
Chris Little Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 thats the picture i took within an hour of homing chris She is an absolute belter Stuart, a bird we all dream of
Ian Gill Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 Some fantastic pigeons mentioned and everyone worth their place on this list as well as the top men who have raced them..I mentioned throwing an irish pigeon into the mix and Ive thought about it long and hard but as Wayne rightly points out,we all think the top pigeons are in our own locality anyway Any Gold Medal winner over here would be worthy of a place but Gordon Kilpatricks Hermes must be in with a shout for top pigeon with two Hall of Fames ..Ronnie Williamsons Five Times A Lady was one hell of a hen.. Heres a question for you ..Ive often wondered when I see similar posts like this is how you make your decision ...is it based purely on the pigeons performances or is it based on the performances and what the pigeon has left or is leaving behind it in the way of winning descendants??
Guest Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 THAT LINES GETTIN BIGGER AND BIGGER MATE. just goes to show how good iam i got in there before he won 1st open thats the secret get 1 the same way bred as the winner

Some brilliant pigeons in Ireland, you own the immortal Dolly, Ian, what are her performances ?
hotrod Posted March 17, 2009 Report Posted March 17, 2009 just goes to show how good iam i got in there before he won 1st open thats the secret get 1 the same way bred as the winner thats what happens when your a real friend . MAYBE JUST MAYBE i might breed a national winner for someone else , there is one or two out there going for gold this year.
