Henrik Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Maybe have Ypres and the longest race different weeks and also i would be in favour of Wanstead Flats instead of Newbury. Would also like proposed Race points in writing and on the agenda instead of everyone trying to have a go at making them up on the day.
tiger Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 try making a racing programme up the same as snrpc. This would be the first steps to one national.
slinky slitheroe Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I would like to see the longest race to be held on the second weekend in July, could perhaps go with the big north west england clubs from Niort, a couple of plus points are there will be a bit of breathing space between races and least there will be a true longer race for everyone. Ypres if its still on the cards to be held on a weekend on its own...... this will put to bed the conspiracies with joint race marking with the other race. Scottih national racing was once regarded as the best of long distance racing in the UK, the racepoints are gradually becoming shorter with now 2 inland races :-/ Well said mate its in danger of becoming a middle distance club.Ithink it was formed with long distance racing in mind.
naedoos Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Well said mate its in danger of becoming a middle distance club.Ithink it was formed with long distance racing in mind. It was formed to organise "A National Pigeon Race For Scotland"
Guest JonesyBhoy Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 Well said mate its in danger of becoming a middle distance club.Ithink it was formed with long distance racing in mind. I agree.. Dorchester, Sartilly, Rennes and Nantes. Why was that ever changed..??
Delboy Posted October 22, 2009 Author Report Posted October 22, 2009 Well said mate its in danger of becoming a middle distance club.Ithink it was formed with long distance racing in mind. I am getting the feeling that we want to do away with at least one of the inland nationals. :-/
ALF Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I am getting the feeling that we want to do away with at least one of the inland nationals. :-/ Maybe some people thinking there are too many races with the SNFC Derek :-/ :-/ :-/

shotgun tim Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 drop an inland race and put a channel in its place, also cheltenham instead of leicester
walterbmasson Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 remember its NATIONAL RACING YOUR POSTING ABOUT SURLY THERES A DIFFERENCE REGARDING INLAND RACING AND BIRDS HAVING TO CROSS WATER YPRES SURLY HAS TO BE MADE AN ADDITIONAL RACE TO TEST YOUR YEARLINGS AT THIS DISTANCE 400 OR 500 MILES AT LEAST IT GIVES ALL BIRDS A CHANCE TO LEARN TO CROSS WATER IT MUST BE GOOD FOR LONG DISTANCE EVENTS LATER ON IN LIFE JUST LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF BIRDS THAT IS GOING TO THE LONG DISTANCE RACING EVENTS IT CERTAINLY NOT WITH HAVING INLAND RACES OTHERWISE WE WOULD BE PUTING 4 TO 5 000BIRDS TO GOLD CUP ETC INSTEAD OF A PITTENCE OF 1200BIRDS

ALF Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 surely eastbourne is long enough to test your yearlings. Personally after my returns from the 2 inland nationals this year i wont be sending anymore yearlings to them but i sent 4 to Ypres and had 3 of them by lunchtime the next day so i know where my yearlings will be going from now on ( And i lost more old birdrs from the inland races than i did yearlings)
frank-123 Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 The moult would have to be retarded Frank drop a sartilly for nantes so one race would need to go

walterbmasson Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 SLINKY SLITHEROE DID YOU LOOK AT THE POST IF 5:000BIRDS GOES TO EASTBOURNE AN INLAND RACE IAM NOT SAYING WHAT DISTANCE THAT IS AS FAR AS MOST OF THEM ARE GOING IN THERE ENTIRE LIFE IF THERE WAS ONLY ONE INLAND RACE THERE WOULD NOT BE SO MUCH PAPER BAGS BROUGHT INTO THIS COUNTRY AND MORE THOUGHT IN MAKING OUR NATIONAL GET BETTER IT WONT HAPPEN OVER NIGHT BUT HAVING ONE INLAND RACE IS A START
Delboy Posted October 22, 2009 Author Report Posted October 22, 2009 how is that delboy could the snfc drop an inland race or would the pound signs demand an inland race The members are the SNFC and they will decide the programme Frank regardless of profit. The inland races obviously make a few quid. :-/

WHITTY Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 i dont understand wanting to drop inland nationals when they have 5000 birds competing over the water nat 1200 birds and 300 birds tere is no comparison :-/
