heres what one mother is doing from south wales whose son is in the army..our troops should never be in this position..to need these items.

 

(They have collected 1,000 fly swats from Blooms Garden Centre, sun creams from Bassaleg Chemist, plus toiletries, insect repellants, biscuits, drinks, magazines and playing cards.

These will be sent to Camp Bastion, and distributed to soldiers.

The family is also selling wristbands carrying the slogan Support the Welsh Guards in Afghanistan.

Miss McMail, a community carer, said the troops need our support and is urging people to get behind her campaign. ).

 

its a pity a uk wide help campaign isnt under way(maybe it might embarress the goverment)

...although there are small groups doing something.

Great idea....unfortunately as not starting back into pigeons until next year I can't donate anything, but will be more than interested in buying something !!

Really pleased that the pigeon fraternity is, once again, not seen to be wanting, and will show its untiring help !!!
