JAS Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Got ETS just now and think it great, but if they keep putting the price of the rings up could be back to the T3.
aye ready Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Got ETS just now and think it great, but if they keep putting the price of the rings up could be back to the T3. same here john got 2 good stb's here but my rings for the young are here for this year but maybe next year i'll race the young birds to the stb and whats left after the programme put ets ring on as yearlings
grizzal Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 t3 for me cant afford ets,and at the end of the day you got to get them home first
shaun h Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 first year racing for me this year and will be using t3 but i can see both points ets is a lot easier on the bird as you dont have to catch and remove the rubber and the conventional you got the buzz of getting that rubber off and in the clock and thats mainly what i like about racing but its jmo may in future turn to ets but for now ill stick with t3.
Guest anto Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 ets but as said above if they dont get a grip on the prise of the rings i will use my t3 for the first half of the young bird program maybe all

hotrod Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 listen the non ets man seems to forget were stil l paying dues to keep there clocks going.example, dont use clock rolls, ink ribbons, race rubbers, race sheets, fed sheets,or pool sheets.but stil pay the same club dues to supply the non ets fancier with thiers so the club printer for ets doesnt use ink cartridges or paper ? and the ets men still use rubbers in national races if im not mistaken .

I thought your club was almost all ETS--Desperate to have an advantage at the boys races so being ripped off for ETS rings. It's only right that the working man should subsidise us poor pensioners.

Guest vander mungo Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 so the club printer for ets doesnt use ink cartridges or paper ? and the ets men still use rubbers in national races if im not mistaken . yes printer does use ink but both sides use it as for national rubbers thats only 3 races of 18

hotrod Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 yes printer does use ink but both sides use it as for national rubbers thats only 3 races of 18 and how exactly does the non ets guys use a printer ? i know in our club theres about 5/6 using ets and them and only them use the club printer and to be honest theres about four or five pages each on a friday and a saturday ,thats some amount of paper/ink being used imo. but im not moaning about it just answering your comment . oh and national races are as follows snfc 2 inland races and 4 overseas races and a young bird race ,the snrpc 1 inland race and 3 overseas races and a youngbird race ,so if you race snfc you have 7 nationals and if you race snrpc its 5 nationals and if you go to both thats 12 nationals, your comment please ?
Guest vander mungo Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 so what are you saying we non ets should pay extra well if you went shopping would you pay for the person behind you at the checkout for there goods. dont think so
carlsberg Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 i will be using both as one of the clubs i fly with wont have ets
hotrod Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 well i use one of the clubs T3's but would might get ets in the future .
billy_g Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 ets for this season next season all depends on the price of the rings
Guest frank dooman Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 well if you went shopping would you pay for the person behind you at the checkout for there goods. dont think so ive paid plenty for others over the years and gave thousands of pounds to clubs i was a member of but that comment you made takes the biscuit and would split most clubs right down the middle sory cant agree with you on this one
