budgie Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Timed at 16.22 4/6 with our Gold Cup pigeon at 18.44.It appears that the National Doos got a better go than the Lanarkshire Fed as on speaking to our club secretary this morning returns are well below 50% with a few not timing in. :(
andy Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 9/10 last night but late at 1544 timed 4 in 12 mins. Best around edinburgh at 1430. Fed pigeons from Newark did good with 24/26.

Delboy Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 6th doo at 6am. 6/7 now 7/7 now but found one of my best stock hens dead.I had bred 5 from her and 4 had scored at snfc including my timer yesterday. She didnt lay often and she had an operation on a cyst this year.
Delboy Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 forgot to say, I got an Ayrshire bird in last night from the SNFC National.Landed with one of mine at 8pm.Fed and watered then released, but I see it still hanging around. Its in good condition SU06A2757
sapper756 Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Got 3/6 home, just back from clock station, a lot of poor returns, if you have 50% you are classed as being lucky :-/ Now 4/6 home

Chris Little Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Any early indications of the probable winner
HOMER49 Posted June 8, 2008 Report Posted June 8, 2008 Hi Timed last years west section winner at 16.34 Jacky Mac Thats his last race in the 5 years hes raced never came from the north like he did yesterday and spooky Sitting on top of the loft for over a minute Congratulations to all that timed Alex Blyth Homer 49
Chris Little Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 Bill Pirie's loft is about 50 yards from ours, his birds have been flying out of their skin all season and his performance on Satutrday was simply awesome, he sent 20 and they steamrolled in, all home but teatime, a cracking pigeon and an equally cracking loft performance. Rooting for him that he clinches it
rednyellow Posted June 9, 2008 Report Posted June 9, 2008 well done bill pirie 1st national and have phoned to congratulate him, also well done previous winner george harris of the midland fed 1st&2nd section e,get back to the golf george!!!! :) :)
