  3. talk about kicking a man when hes down. :'( ;D
  4. get the dates and classes up,maybe some of the big boys will come up and give you lanarkshire lads a wee scare. :)
  5. youll be telling us next about urinating in a doos eye for one eye cold, all kidding aside my dad used to collect acorns by the barrowload and after leaving for drying, would smash them up for the birds, they loved them and won well at 350-600mls. ;) ;)
  6. train the birds myself 30-40mls 3-5 days a week, will need a new plan for season 2009 as the cost of fuel is a joke!!!! :'( :'( :'(
  7. yes edinburgh has certainly been missed, :'(the lothian show and fauldhouse shows are probably the biggest racing shows left in scotland after larkhall biting the dust, lothian show usually last week december fauldhouse first week in january. :)
  8. west central scotland sunny all year lol, very similar to the english riviera. ;D ;D :)and all free!!!!
  9. will be at blackpool all being well, stayed at the travel inn and was very good. ;)
  10. had a very nice day today repainting the lofts in lovely sunshine, even my darling wife gave a very good hand, the lofts now looking good as new. :) :) :)
  11. well done to all members of LANARKSHIRE FED who have won trophies, special mention to members of newmains club who have had an exceptional year in all competitions. well done. :) :) :)
  12. newdoo, have no idea who is feeding you incorrect information "they left after the third old bird race fact not fiction" complete tosh!!! i know my stats, you most clearly do not,the members of KIRKINTILLOCH RPC put a lot of effort and work into glasgow fed including mr hay, afraid in the pigeon game you are "damned if you do and damned if you dont" joining a pigeon forum just to have a go at a certain individual is very much poor form. ;) ps if you want to pm me i can furnish you with all the CORRECT data!!!
  13. throwing stones with your first post, not very gentlemanly, also a few porkies,"glasgow fed mid season" untrue. ;) :)
  14. gutted is very much an understatement with regards to the demise of our great club, good luck to all members of kirkintilloch rpc who have fought a dogged battle over the last few years to keep things going, alas it is not to be. :'( :'(. we can leave with the thought that over the last 10 or 15 years KIRKINTILLOCH RPC has had some of the top performances not only in the west os scotland but the whole of the country be it club, federation or national.good luck :) :) :) .
  15. "the numptys at hamilton" have ran the shu for over 100 years so they must have been doing something right, its very easy to break something but much more harder to put back together!!! :( :(
  16. johno the fanciers of the WEST OF SCOTLAND FEDERATION broke no rules, this has only highlighted the situation the fanciers in scotland are in, too many clubs, feds, transporters & now too many nationals with very few birds and fewer fanciers the time for unity IN SCOTLAND has never been greater. :( :(
  17. bart some clubs within a few miles from my own club are paying 60-80 pence per bird and thats just for the short races, small state of the art transporter top notch, but only half full, going to a meeting on sunday unsure what the future holds for my own club! :'( :'( :'(amalgamate or die!
  18. yes gareth where do we go after the rule book is in the bin? the fancy in scotland is far too bloody minded for any changes, their is too much nastiness and bad feeling in scottish pigeondom which will stop any chance of togetherness, so we will continue with twice as many marking stations double the transport, extra fund raising sales and increases in subscriptions to satisfy the few who show no notions of change, reading similar posts it would appear that the younger members of the fancy{theirs a laugh} are mostly in favour of a united SCOTLAND, time now before its too late!!! :'( :'( :'( ps the acceptability of ETS in scotland is now old hat!
  19. delboy your wager is safe, needed a wee bit of portugese magic to scrape past the jags!!!!! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( will pay up on sunday. ;) charlie hoods "stevie boy" appears to have been over looked, top snfc 500miler.!!!!!!
  20. fair returns budgie,i think you will find yourself to have more birds home than most in section e,dont think it helped that we had so many birds crashing about in the dark.!!! ;)
  21. most definately gareth, with the amount of interest being shown by livestock couriers i think it will be" survival of the fittest" who no doubt will be" last man standing". ;)
  22. i dont think the returns with the snfc have been too good with section e in particular having a poor race returns wise, the snrpc had 52 members from 79 recorded on their result with nearly 35% of the entry timed in lowest vel at 184th on result 795 this from a total of 572birds,almost certainly a better race. :)food for thought ;)
  23. just about 2 weeks since the ybn, anyone having missing birds turn up? which organisation had better returns snfc or snrpc? do fanciers of the snfc feel the delayed liberation was correct and also fair? just a few points that hopefully will be of interest!!
  24. yes definately one of the very best birds flying into scotland in the last few years,"kingdom boy", irrespective of organisation, have already answered regarding scotlands" premier distance club" post appears to have been moved, never mind. ;)
  25. tut tut delboy,we are all "jock tamsons bairns", looking forward to the "glasgow blues"getting humped by the "mercurial maryhill magyars" on wednesday live on council telly. ;) ;)
