I must agree with Gareth those youngsters got hit early on what ever it was i suppose we will never know but it has certanly knocked the heart out of me and a big hole in my young bird team it will be hard going up to the loft tomorrow after this setback

27 out of 35 Witton Castle with Fife Fed. Clocked 11-50 from 8-50 lib. We had 22 within a hour of first bird but then they dried up.  :'(

North West Fed libbed 0800 at Ripon today, 157 miles to me. Birds took longer than expected, with big gaps between them, and in our club most returns were fairly poor at clocks. I'd 2/8 then, and after 12 hours I've still only 4 and got those at 1242, 1301, 1718 and 1913. Whatever it is, you can't call it young bird racing, and the cause can't surely be all down to clashing. Time we started fitting tracking transponders to some pigeons to try to find out though. We are wasting our time and our money letting these losses continue at this level.

 

The light has gone here, the crows are making for their roosts, so don't see any more pigeons making it home tonight.

Well done big Tam winning Danderhall and good returns. I sent 50 timed at 10:23 to beat you on overfly by about 2 miles. I had 40/50 at clocks and only another 2 home upto now where the hell are they? last weeks winner missing.
