use matrix for the race team but the stock birds unless feeding y/b's are just supplied with grit and minerals.Ithink personally they are just boosting the weight of the bag up with poor quality contents

do you throw a lot of the natural grit into the bucket old yellow,i just don't think it's of the same quality as in the past

i put mine in a grit box they seem to eat it all  :) they prefer the redstone pickstones but the kilpatricks seems to get scattered when i change it but soon settles down ;) as mines in pots very little gets waisted  :)

I've used Natural for a long time and always been satsfied, no dust ,good quality.

maybe its just a bad bag, never used to have a problem with it but the bag i'm using the now is very dusty so much so that  i try to blow the dust off bfore i put it down to them

agree think some of it's been ground down.but i don't like buying grit in small bags cos i don't think it's cost effective

No wonder you don't win (shrug)

Its Beyers grit and

Eye of newt, and toe of frog,

Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,

Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,

Lizard's leg, and howlet's wing,

(evil)

leave the testicles out (evil)

Your right about the newt, I just looked at the recipe again, it says eye-ball of a newt..... I somehow missed reading the eye bit and just read the ball bit. :)

Birds don't like old grit. change it regularly, I use three types mixed. They especially like the Natural Granan with the clay base.

lol i have to laugh at old grit  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D   its million's of years old so when did or does it go off ? if soiled then remove if protected it doesnt go off  ;) :X :X :X :X

See how much they like fresh grit compared to dusty grit ..... Oldfella

my grits not dusty that just means its deteriorated and been crushed theres many forms of minerals and quite a few in powdered form which is good for drying dampened corn ;) like pink minerals  ;)

No matter what you put down to them, still doesn't stop them looking for more around the garden.
