OLDYELLOW Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 have used several grits i still like the kilpatricks white limestone grit quite alot like the redstone but they can gorge themselves on it and make themselves sick , matrix seems to be the new mineral and grit supliment most are using now http://pigeons.taylorschoice.co.uk/products/163073_the_matrix_-_gem_2-5kgs.php
aye ready Posted April 13, 2009 Author Report Posted April 13, 2009 use matrix for the race team but the stock birds unless feeding y/b's are just supplied with grit and minerals.Ithink personally they are just boosting the weight of the bag up with poor quality contents

OLDYELLOW Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 See how much they like fresh grit compared to dusty grit ..... Oldfella my grits not dusty that just means its deteriorated and been crushed theres many forms of minerals and quite a few in powdered form which is good for drying dampened corn like pink minerals
Guest IB Posted April 13, 2009 Report Posted April 13, 2009 No matter what you put down to them, still doesn't stop them looking for more around the garden.
