Now that the directive has came out from the fed today about all clubs needing a perspex type screen to protect/separate whoever is race marking the pigeons(I got perspex for our club last week and our secretary will make a frame for them this week so we are ready)

 

Looks like we are moving in the right direction to allow us some old bird racing at last

alf iam our club sec and have had no such text ? some one must have told the fed that or is it just speculation as with the mask and visor which tommy said would be more than ample and has this so called screen to be under the blown away gazzebo outside ?

What about central marking at the bigger club houses in each section clubs chip in and get their section club set up safely and help operate it together....rotation system to run it

Central marking and ask people not working and can travel have them early time slots and rolled out to the workers coming after work

Also something that could be looked at is the fed could give grants to each central marking station to help get the correct and safe measures in place... plenty money in the bank... say 1k each station? The money given would be saved with the fed only going to 3 or 4 stations

 

Another point this helps protect the safety of the drivers not meeting 4 basket handlers at every club in Lanarkshire and continuing around each club

 

A lot of change in many industries have already took place....pigeon racing won't be any different

you could also say Jamie there will be fanciers packing it in that work and we have midweek race with no concideration to them.and some clubs might only have one or two members under 70, premises have no outside to mark so central marking makes sence . and at present all marking would have to be outside to complie with the rules
