budgie Posted August 8, 2019 Report Posted August 8, 2019 Why can’t we have the WRC races on the same day as the Inland National ,s and alter the comeback races to suit all organisations.Apart from that the vision is fantastic and the way forward.ðŸ‘

It’s a template to get it out their so lads can digest it before I visit the clubs, that way a lot of the issues are ironed out, and it’s just a tweak here and there before submitting the final draft proposal. Glad to hear your onboard with the concept
Guest mambo Posted August 8, 2019 Report Posted August 8, 2019 Paul if the national gets the vote, that's 8 days camping out till late plus 2 central markings for fed members
Paul Mac 31 Posted August 8, 2019 Author Report Posted August 8, 2019 Paul if the national gets the vote, that's 8 days camping out till late plus 2 central markings for fed membersLet’s break it down as easy as possible for you Danny Their will be a vote like always,,,3 choices 1. Go alone all season ( as was done in past )2. Convoy with SNFC ( as was done in past )3. Convoy with WRC ( the future) Raise your hand for number 3 and all the above can happen. I think we can achieve 80% for number 3 no problemAs over 60% of LRPF are not national members
Joe tyre Posted August 8, 2019 Report Posted August 8, 2019 Well if your starting a new club there is going to be a lot of questions asked over and over to make sure wot is hapning regarding clubs etc so weather they upset some fanciers or not they have to be answered and yes a cool head is requied lol but all the best and wotever the fanciers decide will be for the future no matter whose against or for the majority will decide wot is the future for the sport all the best to all fellow fanciers from all over scotland and the uk

Guest mambo Posted August 8, 2019 Report Posted August 8, 2019 Paul what you are really saying do the members want to go to the euro central and stay there till late. 4 times marking pigeons, or do the members prefer to go to there own club hut and mark there birds as they do just now, having there own race. Your 4. Races and the nat 3-4 plus 2 central marking keeps members away from there club hut for 10 weeks from a total of 19 races all in for none members

As I have stated the majority of Lanarkshire Federation at not even members of the SNFC. If Guys want to go to both and have the team to do so, no one is stopping them, the facts are the majority of the West Region have been looking for an alternative to Inland Nationals for years now, here it is,,, Simple. Convoy with WRC , SNFC or go alone ,,,, *expletive removed* me how hard is that to understand
Paul Mac 31 Posted August 9, 2019 Author Report Posted August 9, 2019 “Before going into details of our plans, This clubs Foundation will live or die by firstly the vote of the LRPF members at their 2020 AGM, all the below will be proposed , If members vote To convoy as the WRC for these races ,,this is what we would be looking at creating........†Again taken from the original post if you care to read. Meaning , that if the LRPF choose to go with SNFC or alone the WRC fails to exist Vote for WRC I reckon we can have 80% of the West on board , substantially more that what sends with the SNFC. Case in point,,,, your own club when I think it’s less than 5 % send to and inland national last season, they went to Kelso with the Fed, send over 2200 Birds each time,,, My bet it is across the Fed that number will not got above 20% if given this New option of the WRC,,. I’m also sure that the other feds and region members will also follow suit if given the opportunity It’s not hard to grasp,, and the fanciers that race every week , unlike yourself , seem to be very much In favour as a majority.

Lanarkshire Federation will operate their own programme for the full season. AS PART OF THIS PROGRAMME they will hopefully chose to go to the selected WRC races. For these selected WRC races, Lanarkshire Federation will mark centrally at Newhouse in a modern, covered, roomy marking station with full facilities for the fanciers and where the transporter can be loaded under cover and in front of the members. This seems like a no brainer to me. No longer will their pigeons be pulled all over the whole country by a predominantly larger entry from the East of Scotland because these races will not be National races. Their pigeons will have the opportunity to find a better line into the West of Scotland. Further, for those with National aspirations, this experience will stand them in good stead because of the likelihood of having more pigeons with that experience, being able to perform better within the National races. Where is the catch? Lanarkshire Federation will open these WRC races to include all fanciers in the West Region and allow them onto their transport for these races.

A round of applause for that man their, who clearly understands like 99% of us do. In my honest opinion the SNFC doesn’t even come into it,,,as stated themselves, the club was founded for Distance Racing for the Scottish fanciers. WRC has no interest in Distance Racing, it’s only function is to hopefully deliver top competitive racing and quality returns in the West Region. I’m excited about the future, with so many positive calls and txts from West region members ( and out side the west) that race every week and can see that this has the potential to be one of the best and largest Combines in Europe. Safe Racing Guys
bibendium Posted August 9, 2019 Report Posted August 9, 2019 The very fact that this venture is being discussed might make other organisations buck up their own ideas .As said before on Ayrshires FB page a few minor tweaks perhaps needed to original draft but going in the right direction

Guest mambo Posted August 9, 2019 Report Posted August 9, 2019 Still can't see 60 % of the Lanarkshire fed members voting, for 4 late nights out,but if left as is getting picked up from club huts, you might have a chance and all other feds met at euro central for convoying purposes with there baskets.

Where are you getting the late nights from? Paul is putting up the use of his premises, so you can have marking on anytime you like without restrictions.. The National marks 4-8 I’m pretty sure plenty of Lanarkshire clubs Mark later than that.. Your negativity seeps out every post, desperate to find fault. What time would the Doos have to mark to go to OSLO? 😂🙈
