its to avoid cheating during a race example- if at the gold cup there were no birds into Scotland on the night and a bird goes into someone at say Berwick the guy sees the wingstamp or address ring and phones the fancier direct the fancier jumps into his car drives and collects the bird if on a stb/t3 he removes the rubber and clocks it in the car park in Berwick or he drives home and puts it over the ets pad hence winning the race the cup the cash but most of all his name as a national winner he then sits back and nobody knows hes been any where except the guy in Berwick who may not be a fancier and would never know hes aided in someone cheating and never will if the guy who gets it in has no direct number to contact then he has to go through the shu or the fanciers own club thus having someone else knowing where the bird is and that it has been reported then he cant do that and get away with it

had that with old ets rings sometimes they stop working and ive had 2 like your one that works then doesn't then does again I binned the rings and got a new one allocated to the birds

Aberdeen,and north of Scotland both flew into headwinds yesterday and both have really heavy loses I know nos were hit at lib but this date the last Saturday in july has historically had disasters one fancier brought this to my attention and the possibility that the military/ goverment agencies could be using this weekend every year to test their guidance equipment etc etc this would explain why on this date yearly there are so many bad races country wide im not saying percy doesn't to tremendious damage and decimates convoys but to think he is solely responsible for all these bad races is in my opinion being very blinkered
