read somewhere that all cars will be paying road tax again soon £134 minimum was the figure mentioned reason for this is all these low emission cars who pay nothing or very little is having a big effect on how much is getting collected in tax not enough to cover road repairs etc etc so the new low limit is being introduced rickshaw very cheap to run :emoticon-0136-giggle:

cheers George I take it the fancier would have to put in a claim to them as that info would not be readily available except in the fanciers and clubs records 1st ive heard of them , or any awards I would think 99% of fanciers wouldn't of heard of them I would think a few claims will go in next year as its getting a bit of publicity now
-
well done lads john who awards/sponsers this, is it through one of the unions and what is the criteria for winning it
-
I had to register belg ones with the shu andy or I couldn't of raced them as I said last post it was 50p each and had to send a copy of the ring card aswell think this was around 6 years ago
-
I think that's any uk ring andy any ring from outside the uk has to be registered with, in our case the shu eg belg/dutch rings you have to photocopy the ring card and send it to the shu I think the charge is 50p per ring , or at least it used to be

I think that applies to birds who miss out on a section prize but are put on at the bottom of the result because they have won some pools and there are birds doing a higher velocity who are not mentioned because they have no pools to collect or I'm completely wrong lol
-
the diferance is that with the sections you would have birds infront of birds who have scored due to where their sections are theoretically in a good race you could have 50 or 60 % of the southern sections birds on the result before the other sections places are filled for me only section winners should go on the open result you could get a result for every fanciers 1st bird only, recorded in race time but would take up a lot of the secretarys time not to mention keeping the marking stations open till a velocity of 400ypm was passed
-
go with the degree of difficulty south sections 1 in 20 middle sections 1 in 15 north sections 1 in 10 and only section prize winners can go forward for the open result I bet this would go down a bomb :drinking-coffee-200:

is that in kilometres , as aberdeens 611 miles at alencon
-
just tell them the bin lorry swallowed it when getting emptied that happens quite a lot
-

removing 4 classes brian , whats the furthest flown class you would have for non snfc members 100 miles ? they way you stated would mean that , anyone entering a flown class over 200 miles would have to be a member of the snfc that cuts out a hellava lot of folk who like showing

I did read it brian it was about adding a channel class which must of been flown with the snfc but you stated scrapping the 200 mile cock & hen , and the 400 mile cock & hen classes and having the snfc ones instead which I was referring to
-
so your wanting to limit channel classes to snfc members only I thought it was a shu show not a snfc show and you want to scrap classes for shu, members , very selfish attitude :emoticon-0179-headbang: :emoticon-0179-headbang:

watched a documentary last year where some top oil executives stated that the cut off for making a profit was around $25 a barrel the oil companys are streamlining their staff but are still making large profits just like the stock market you hold onto what you have till the price goes up then sell was hearing at work today that there are around 20 new contracts starting up which will need a few rigs to start up again don't know the ins and outs of it but hope that's the start of the recovery just this last 2 weeks we have seen more work come in, than in probably the last 2 or 3 months
-
drop the 20k and you will lose most of your entrants the big olr have a lot higher 1st prizes 100,000 euro even 2nd can be higher than that eg Algarve 2nd is 40,000 euro 500 euro for a team of 3 birds 2 of them activated and a reserve works out very roughly £400 for 2 activated bird with a chance to win £80,000 1st prize this year the 1st 300 home all won prize money how much to enter the olr your on about
-

all those fanciers who are desperate to find out everyones times before clocks have patience , enjoy your race , you will find out who the winners are when clocks are opened the other post where it was said you hated when you were given the wrong time by a fancier ever thought he might be feeding you and everyone else a bum steer because he was peeved off at being harassed for his time every week
