    Arona Olr

i see the birds are out to 20.5 miles 33 km started with 3059 down to 2441 after 8 trainers a few should turn up tomorrow as 117 missing from todays trainer 46 unactivated birds were removed this seems a lot even for the arona races as they are still training over the island
  2. true lol
  3. interesting topic stuart wiles away the winter hours lol
  4. you are probably right i just thought that new members may come under new business and new members wouldnt be allowed to be present for that as their elegability to join could be up for discussion like in a club
  5. yes i would think so stuart i think hes still a member untill new buisness at the agm dont quote me but i think he or anyone can resign up until that point and not be liable for the following years fees i dont know the rpra setup , but an interesting topic
  6. question for you john how can clubs pay dues before fed meeting as fed dues can/are decided at agm for the following year unless no proposal for fees are submitted can fees be decided at agm without a proposal because honouraniums are voted on every year without any proposals
  7. interesting point you raised a good topic of conversation / discussion hope you have success in your new club :drinking-coffee-200:
  8. fair enough , i didnt think non members were allowed to attend the fed agm i thought that was one of the reasons we had to sign in or could be just a record of members who attended does this mean any member of the public can sit in
  9. good question i dont think he can attend as hes not a fed member till after the agm , when the new season starts if he wishes to attend he would have to pay this years fed fee aswell as next years look at how your club works - new members wishing to join cant attend the meeting/agm when they vote on membership , i know your fed may not vote on membership as usually any new club members get accepted into the fed automatically also has your club submitted his name to the fed as a new member for next year correct me if im wrong , as only my opinion

ive read the letter from shu and the rpra stance which was sent to me if you had read my posts ,you would see ive not said the shu have stopped racing but read the rpra bio security measures and where a race in their durisdiction would contravene them rpra stated loft flying/exercise eg- if its legal in our country that doesn't mean we can go into another country where its not legal and do it without repercussions

    Bird Flu

I missed the bit where the rpra as from today allowed loft flying but didn't think a race would be permitted as it would contravene all their bio security measures but who knows

    Bird Flu

I was ,but missed the bit about rpra birds being allowed out for exercise, I see this was passed today ,and I missed it due to being at work thought that was only shu are rpra allowing races to take place as that would be race birds mixing , getting lost returning late , mixing with wild birds etc etc and deff against loft flying for exercise

    Bird Flu

    Bird Flu

would liberations in England not be covered by rpra rules and laws , if anyone in England lets their birds out they could be prosecuted so It would be the same if anyone else lets birds up I would think

    Bird Flu

have they got permission from the rpra as they will be using one of their race points and if the rpra still don't let their members fly birds out all participating lofts could be subject to a heavy fine or criminal proceedings is it the morpeth area the race is from ?
