Roland good addition to post ,
-
Post a pic of the bird—might be able to tell if it’s cock or hen.
-
Fat pigeons don’t win races but do get home late —-feed as the distance demands ,if you feed same all season you aren’t paying enough notice of the birds .only my opinion.

You Carnt make a comparison sat to wed—birdage ? But if you try——high spen midweek club basketed on wed any age race 8 old and 8 young birds —five members sent young birds more sent old birds only ,basketed at 8am wed morning ,left in club till dinner time when they were picked up by transport —merc sprinter van ,—-liberated at 3.30pm from 67 miles, one member flying really well clocked 6 old birds then next bird was young bird. I got all eight youngbirds in 9mins—100 percent Never have bad losses on midweek —should touch wood . Nothing wrong with same day basketing—imo

Dooman can you send me your mobile please Take notice of show dates —Friday night too Recipient: ovy1255 Hello Sportfriend, It is nice to read that you are interested in next year's Spring Exchange. We have a Multi year contract with the organization of Expo Houten on the first FULL weekend of March. For 2020 however it was a bit tricky because of the events in the weeks after the Spring Exchange date... So for once we are stuck to the dates below! Because of our 25th anniversary we will extend the openingshours on the Friday from 16.00 to 19.30 hours. So the dates and openingshours for 2020 will be: Friday feb. 28th: 16.00 - 19.30 hours. Saturday feb. 29th: 9.00 - 17.00 hours. Sunday March 1st: 9.00 - 14.00 hours. The dates for the years after will be: 2021: March 6 & 7 2022: March 5 & 6 2023: March 4 & 5

All part of the learning —first cart horses don’t win horse races ,fat chicks dont win races ,starving birds dont win races and sick birds will never win so be critical with yourself —are you flying everyone’s rubbish—are you feeding too much, are you not feeding enough for distance you intend to fly ? As a rule of thumb —winners breed winners—-so go to lofts that win and buy only birds off winners or from stock that bred multiple winners. To get a bird to win from 90 miles and compete at 300 plus is asking a lot Do you want to win sprint races —or middle distance or long ? Buy the correct birds for the one you want to compete in most and keep them healthy. You say you have a team of young birds —have you treated them at all other than inoculating for para. ? Could go on but lads on site might contradict some of my methods but many roads to Rome. I treat blind and like to use natural products —but some would cringe seeing me put a few twigs [new growrth ]off the top of my privet hedge and throwing them into my youngbirds. Keep them hungry —keep control but dont starve youngbirds—try feeding a good widowhood mix when you think they need it but put them on inter mix the rest of the time.——barley is most under rated corn . Sorry for rabbiting on and ignore it if you think you know better.
