Got one today 35/40 and one from race two weeks ago with half a wing on one side

34/40 Wetherby

33/40 with South Lanarkshire at Wetherby and the last one back has no tail so looks like a lucky escape For it

Birds liberated in bright sunshine at Wetherby 0800 in a brisk west wind birds cleared within a minute good luck to everyone

Got one at 1000 then another one at 1100 then another at the back of 1500 so now up to 47/50 from Aycliffe

Not a feather here this morning but hope as the weather improves that some will work through

Had the young birds out excercising this morning and about 40 minutes into their flight my son came out and commented they were flying fast as they passed overhead and I had to admit they were moving to say the least, on looking closer I spotted Percy at the tail end of them and my neighbours must think I am mad with all my jumping about as the squad were really low as was Percy Thankfully the head count shows they are all there but their morning routine was certainly interrupted this morning and on watching some birds trap if only I could get that on a Saturday

Got 2 this morning one at the back of 0700 & the next at the back of 0800 so that's me up to 59/66 so fingers crossed another few work in despite the strong wind today

South Lanarkshire away at 1030 from Alnwick good luck everyone and fingers crossed for good returns

Glasgow I believe are sitting at Dunbar and the race controller apart from taking account of the weather conditions also needs to consider the liberations that may cross the line of flight for the birds therefore sometimes I vent though it's a sunny morning there will be good reason for deciding when to liberate.
