Its funny since my missus has been doing write up's for BHW ive seen a few different systems .The thing is there is absolutley no fixed way of winning .Its whats suits the fancier and more importantly what suits the birds.Many ways to skin a cat as they say.

So national race's should be sectioned (as they are) then sections should then be split into smaller area's then them area's into club's.I think thats what people are trying to say .on a whole i think this would be brilliant imagine club's as well as individuals would get recognition.you may even get partnerships forming just for national race's.

The thing with one loft race's they are for young birds.If a one loft was geared to keeping birds 3 years then overall we may see the best pigeons from that flock of birds.

How would you even enter an International race? And personaly i think the brit birds are as good as anyones but there is to much that is different to compare them.Weather and and race opportunites spring to mind as has been stated.Lol it looks like my fed wont even be racing the channel this year so theres an example straight away.

Heya Gladdo mate my uncle had a race team of whites not sure where from i will find out for you.Now he didnt do to much with them allthough they came home from anywhere they was just to slow unless it was a really hard race then they would be there.Well he was on about getting shut of em because people where laughing at them all the time(even though his other birds where doing well) so to give them another chance he crossed them with a few of his other racers this year.Now he has some real nice grizzle's that scored near on every race as youngsters and he has high hopes for next year with em as yearling's.Maybe to keep them white there is to much inbreeding so it may pay to outcross them then cross them back in.

Now i'm not really sure about what is being said here i can understand trouble makers not being wanted in club if the disrupt the running of the club.I cant understand people not being allowed because they fly a good pigeon surely you would want to compete against the best people around and if you didnt how could you judge how good your birds are? But if people where really that bothered about people joining a club or not couldnt they just make the club an Invitational club only but again no lottery grants.Cake and eating it comes to mind .And people who dont accept others because they are better than them should really look in the mirror and make themselves better.LOL and you wonder why the sport is dieing ive had to reread this thread because i couldnt and still cant believe people are not allowed in clubs because they fly a good bird .I try to stay out of politics because i tend to rave a bit to much so please exscuse me if i have done that here.

Thing with Louella is as you get further away from the champions they are more inbred probably in need of an outcross .I bought two pair this winter and i intend to cross them with a few of my own and see what happen's.
