Sheffield - cold bit dry this morning

I have a pair what breeds good birds every year so out of that pair there's about 6 widowhood cocks out of that pair

Very damp this morning in Sheffield

I don't give my maize and when I did they ended up like little pigs, they get maize once they are flying and then right until the last race atb andy

Sheffield - cold and dry this morning

I have 49 young parted, they get out most days for the last week or two, old birds haven't been out in a while will start having them out in the next week or so. No special treatment atm, just plenty of corn and pellets atb with the breeding guys.

There's a ground frost and its a bit fresh but other than that a decent morning here in Sheffield

get them flying well and make sure they are fit, Then start them off at 10mile, Give them a few at that and then they should be fine.

I keep pigeons on allotment so on mine goes into the ground

On Saturday i managed to part my 1st batch batch of young birds, Here are a few pictures.

I think with the eggs as well it will take me to 90, but some will most likely gifted to a few new fanciers in my clubs, and so will be breeder buyer birds, atb Andy

my birds get knocked down to diet on return, A light feed. then around the usual feeding time they have as much as they like, same on saturday am and pm feeds, Then on monday if it wasn't to hard race they'll go back out and be put back onto the measured out corn which will remain diet until mid week.
