I was just asking a genuine question, one or two people have said stock him, he's currently paired, and still in the race loft with some intention of racing him. He single reared a young cock but with a few personal problems I stopped the cocks after the 2nd race and just raced the hens for the young bird season. Thanks for the replies.

i have a late bred 2011 cock, who has won a few times and had other cards from 74miles t0 195miles As ive only kept him on land, 2013 i got 4 young birds from him 2 with one hen and the other 2 with a different hen, one i lost, the other 3 won.. as he's won races, and he's bred winners, where should he be? Stock loft or race loft..?

i have 36 pair of whidowhood and 12 pair of stock paired up, Currently just started laying. get them Parted gives me plenty of time to play with the widowhood cocks and no rush in getting them flying before 1st race. found this worked brilliant, having 8 1st with the old birds alone. Up to le-mans. Best of luck with 2015 all

Hello all, After a decent season i have found myself overstocked. I have filled up my widowhood section and have 6 spare young cocks, all of which have been raced to Eastbourne 195miles to me. none of the cocks on offer have done anything wrong, there just simply isn't room for them all! they are mainly sprint birds however i managed to get one from across the channel this year 376 miles to take 1st club, 2nd fed 6 combine, then a few weeks later he was 1st club 12th fed. so they can come that distance one the right day and in the condition. For anyone interested in them drop me a PM There might also might be one or two hens. Birds are in Sheffield, And Questions just Ask

that's answered my question Andy thank you, i think 90% of my birds are aggressive i have had a few comments up at the club house about it, Asking if i train them to be so aggressive. the other 10% are rolland jannsen and they are too tame Thank you (:

would you say it was normal though Andy? i have wondered if they are getting fed to much and have to much energy or something daft like that

Today cleaning the widohood cocks out while they was still in the hut there was two 2013 cocks fighting on the floor, I split them up with my hand and then one came over to my hand attacking my hand the same way he was attacking the other cock, when i had finished cleaning them out i let them all out for a bath, and i did seem to nice how aggressive they was. Is this normal?? opinions please.

i have used telephone rings for the last few years, this year ive had a stinker with the young birds however i have had lots of them reported even by non fanciers as well. One race i lost 6 on saturday, on the monday out of the 6 i had 5 reported.

Hello all. does anyone race yellow pigeons, If so. What breed are they? What distance do they fly? I think i may want to try a pair proving that theres a decent breed out there that could win a race or at least try and win. i dont just want them to lok pretty in my loft
-
just what the title says really, how many clubs do you be in before you settle in one for a while? I started racing pigeons in 2010 joining as a yb member, 2012 i joined another club again to fly ybs that year and right about now i think im in need of another club for a few reasons. how many clubs have you guys been members of in the past? or are you loyal to one club?

High light of this season was my old birds effort, Winning 8 races with them. For the last 4 years i have said channel races wasnt for me however this year i have had a good result, le mans, 376 miles finished 1st club, 2nd fed 6th combine just seeing he come will stay with me for a while. the low point was the young birds, 2 weeks before the 1st race loosing a big amount, just got the ones what was left up and going again ready for the 1st race and that turned out to be a disaster loosing 13 from 30 sent getting one back at 9;54am and one back at 10;17 am and finishing 1st + 4th club..
