  5. Well my birds are fed in the Nest box when rearing young, not much sights of mice but when had cannary was over run, and I know people might say 'keep it clean ect but it's hard to keep every piece of seed off the floor and stuff
  6. All I can say andy is they are dirty little buggers with seed, chucking it all over, I had one in my cabin ended up with more mice than ever!

I agree Walter I have a 2012 cock who's won a few times and had 2nds if he hadn't been caught week in week out he would have several top fed positions too, I was tempted by ets a while back but it was the hassle of changing loft etc etc, however I feel to compete in need to be on a level playing field and if that means ets then so be it.   9. I'm looking at sprint racing, and just wanting the best from my birds in can get, trying the old birds on ets now would be silly so I think I'll be investing for the ybs least I have the time to change stuff around and get them trained different trapping method, again, thanks for the replies
  10. My thoughts too, problem is there's 5 weeks till our first race. Cocks are flying well atm and trapping through the open door, don't feel I have time to spin things round there is feel my best option would be get it for ybs?
  11. Cheers for the reply. In my club last year the old birds was between me and another guy both using t3s this Year the other guy will be on ets.. Just curious whether to join him on that or not?

I've never really thought about going on ets however things have changed and I need a few questions answered please! 1) can more than one system be used in a club, like one on union and another on tauris? 2) if I get it, I'll be making a form of trapping through the bottom of the door, how big would the opening be? 3) can someone on a t3 compeat with ets? Any help, advice would really be helpful. Atb Andy

  15. I've had a good hatch with most eggs full, still waiting on a pair of Latebred stock birds to lay. 18 year old stock cocks managed to fill all 4 of his eggs!!
  16. I send what ever is fit enough to go week in week out inland. For the chanel, I'm not a big fan so I just pick few out for the chanel races. Atb for 2015!

  22. I have 80 rings, 60 young birds in the nest with another 20+ eggs down... Got my numbers mixed up somehow, wanted a 2nd round from stock but looks like ill be full up. Atb
  23. My club has 14 or 15 members how many sends is a different story! Some weeks we drop down to only 8 sending.
  24. Everything paired up with only one or two hiccups, most pairs on young the rest on eggs. Should be parting 50 yes in 10 days or so atb
