Ian payment sent this morning Got it Thanks
  8. I'd be happy, as for young birds I would love to use it. However if only one man wanted to use it, it would be impossible as he wouldn't be able to read and set his own clock, it's down to the willingness. I remember a local federation, a very famous fancier used ETS, and took the first 10 in the federation. When the federation meeting took place the other club officials refused to check the birds, because they also had a gentlemans agreement. 4 members of this club used ETS that week. The race result was then voided. This fancier could if he wanted to take it to the region, he never did but he would have won the case. The club in question never used ETS again.
  9. Tony, in my own fed it's a gentlemans agreement no rule, but if someone wanted to use ETS the fed couldn't stop them as long as they had people to set it and read it.
  10. They have some serious ammunition there that's for sure

Personally, a breeder buyer is a simple thing. Everyone putting there penny in on how it should be run complicates things, remember this site has been doing a breeder buyer THIS WAY for a few years now, never had any complaints or grumbles in the past. Ian McKay yet again has done the site proud with his organisation skills.

Defiantly the yearling has fire in his belly, noticed before this took place he was very protective of his box. Both now boxed up the pair of them. Luckily no broken flights or eggs, but both very blooded up and They look tired.

Got a two year old cock bird, multiple club and federation carder, trying to take over boxes. Originally he tried to take over box to left of him but got out of that as I was boxing vice versa over night. But last night the two year old cock decided to go to the box on the right to a vicious yearling, they have ripped each wattles apart. Absolutely gutted.

    Breeder Buyer

Brian, it's very sad to see this situation, the breeder buyer has been running a couple of years now with no problems. I feel all birds entered should be auctioned. I've never competed in a breeder buyer where the breeder couldn't buy his bird back. If this is the case with an online breeder buyer, with many people from all over the British isles from the site courier costs would kill it, as most cost around £40 now. If you take the average sold being £30 per bird, it means your racing a youngster priced at £70 including carriage and for me it's to much money that can be lost off the loft and not even entered into a race basket, just my opinion.
  16. Beautiful morning here
  17. We had an invisible member, until he moved, in my opinion he was one of the best fanciers in the London area. Many who didn't know him personally thought he had a disability hence the reason for not going up the club. Someone would always bring his birds and Mark them.

  22. Embarrassing to say it but Bales making spurs to look like a one man team. Two great goals again tonight
  23. Kirky, it says it's for the darkening period
  24. Had a look at it, was as all versa laga mixtures well thought of, but in my opinion I'd prefere less maize and more protein in my mix while the birds are on the dark. The protein levels of dark ic are only around 12%, I prefere to use a general moulting mixture, which can be between 18-20% protein. The idea is to help replenish the new feathers. Once of the dark the feed and work rate is changed dramatically.
