  1. I've given it to local chicken man
  2. WHAT A SHOCK I HAD THIS MORNING! All my Thurso representatives were sent sitting chicken eggs to Thurso. To my shock this morning when entering the loft my good Thurso Cock was sitting on the nest, and a little baby chick was sitting next to him. Haven't a clue what to do with it, will give it to a local chicken man down the road, I would rear it if I knew how.

Micky is a good block he'll help you out very much doubt it being a stock bird, my guess would have been lost at Thurso
  7. Yes Andy at one time, all clubs racing in the London North Road combine had L rings, as it was a ring scheme that was run, however it no longer runs and the last few years those racing in east London have been C rings.

    There's a number missing
  9. The weather dictates when I like to train. Current weather conditions 28 degrees plus I train early as possible to beat the mid day sun and temperatures. However when the weather is cooler then it has been getting them home by 12 is good time. Very rarely train in the evening if at all
  10. Many pigeon fanciers in my opinion should have a copy of The British Medical Associations Guide to Medicine and Drugs. It's a must for any pigeon mans library.
  11. Have you tried Calcium and Magnisium supplementation, Dr Brokamps product is especially for wing lock and that's two of the main components. Personally if no sign of Improvement After 48 hours I'd expect Streptaccocal infection but that is my opinion.
  12. Youngsters on there first race, can be nervous when arriving to the loft singally. That's why many single toss on an empty belly from a very short distance, so there used to coming home by themselves and trapping.
  13. Keep it up, bet it was some experience for you timing your first bird? Your first year its about getting them home to have a team of old birds next season the results will come.
  14. Whatever Bilco writes or publishes in my opinion is good info
  15. Big da it was on another Pigeon site
  16. You a convert Andy? We been using them for years Wouldn't use anything else
  17. Bilco spoke about it weeks ago
  18. It depends how you feed them, you cannot burn the candle at both ends, hard training heavier diet, light training lighter diet. The protein levels would be the biggest factor.

  23. No one in my opinion remembers a pigeon that topped the fed once, apart from the owner . A pigeon that tops it numerous times are the ones that are remembered. The best pigeon I've ever raced against in my time was Champion Mach 1 5x1st federation as a young bird, raced by Tizzard, Bigwood and O Cunneff.
