I use grills in the nest boxes with a cat litter dressing underneath and there cleaned out weekly but I'd never have the grills on the loft floor

Too many things matching up mate wet droppings and pigeon tumbling over I'd be down the vets in the morning for a proper analysis

i thought the same clocky, a young birds start in life should be 100%

Did you treat at all before pairing or sitting?

Patrick brothers used them, I used them for a while juiced and mixed with brewers yeast, was full of good vitamins a and b I found after a hard race they recovered sooner then the ones not receiving it, I always treat different sections to different systems of feed and watering

Pigeons will over indulge on matrix they will eat it more readily then grain, do as it says on the tin, you won't go far wrong.

Very hard to beat gems products and corn for quality and price, the only company to match them with quality products with value for money is norban in my opinion

I acquired a new family to try with my team of taskers this season apart from 3 pair I have crossed. One of the pairs a kept pure a pair of yearlings have appeared to be some what crap feeders, however there very keen on sitting on the young bird. Everything seemed fine upto ringing then they decided to feed the single reared baby less and less, the baby doesn't call for food or nothing, I have over 25 babies in the nest and this is the only case with every other young bird being nice n fat. Would you suggest separating this pair and give each one a more experienced partner? The droppings around the nest are like brown marbles with a White cap so very much doubt anything health wise?
