  3. No you also have Lambrechts-Lismont which are middle to long distance,Stefan Lambrechts that Micky Collins had in one of his sales few months back Stefan is also from Berlaar but not sure if he is related to Carl or Cyriel, but his name is cropping up on the quiverain results.
  4. Do you feel it would be an advantage that they were trapping into an aviary?
  5. Lambrechts of Berlaar i am guessing,
  6. i wouldnt want to go ets fella, but i am all for other people using it, its just takes the fun out of pigeon racing for myself personally, but what i have seen of ets up north its a great system, and a good friend of mine constantly spoke of its praise.
  7. 81 points well happy with that score it ain't over to the fat lady sings
  8. In London and Essex we do not have the facilities for ETS as many are against it, A few members in one fed went ETS but when fed secretary said that they would resign they went back to the rubber way, I can't see it happening down here for a while if I am honest. Is there a way that you can keep the stalls open till the birds get used to going through them?
  9. Could anyone offer there opinions on stall traps as I am considering installing these forms of traps.
  10. Archie he was a good young bird scoring 2 times as a young bird in club and federation, raced to 235 miles, as a yearling I was unlucky and lost him from 5 miles I feel something else happened that day as I had also lost another that returned 4 days later smashed up, was gutted as I thought he was going to be the business as an old bird.
  11. Well done Archie. That White cock looks cracking
  12. Lol I need to get up the ladder mate I'm no threat, done quiet a few transferes this week looks like it payed off for a week but nxt week I'll be den the loo again I bet
  13. In my opinion the Lambrechts as I read many more results with them but that could be due to how many people in the country have the zwols
  14. I use it and find it great stuff, use it in the drinker and in the bath but must be thin bleech
  15. I only rear of my stock birds and any birds that are multiple scoreers and federation winners, but any I do take from the racers both parents need to have won at least once.
  16. If you say you haven't treated at all at any time leading upto the dropping test It could be down to how the birds are fed or watered a high carb diet or use of vitamins that contain sugars which the yeast feed off. Remember there should be some yeast always present to create a good gut flora, it is only when the immune system is low that is when it can get out of hand, but from what your suggesting to me your birds should have a solid base. The vet who done the test what did they suggest fir you to treat with?
  17. After any antibiotic Andy the levels of yeast rise, as a precaution you should always put nystatin on the grain for at least the next 3 feeds to eliminate any problems with candida(yeast). The reason why many people will use lemon juice on the grains or cider vinegar in the drinker is to acidity the crop and to brake down the sugar levels which candida feeds on, simple carbs like maize In my opinion Brewers yeast would not cause a candida problem as it is inactive yeast, however if you have a candida or yeast problem brewers yeast will feed the candida, hence many people with Thrush are advised not to take Brewers yeast as a supplement until the patient is completely clear. But you must remember you need an equilibrium as an amount of yeast is need to create good intestinal gut flora Geordie I think your mistaking what I am asking you mate, did you medicate any of your flock before you took the samples for analysis, as I am trying to hit the nail on the head on why your candida levels were high?
  18. Got mine today direct
  19. Depends when his breeding I suppose Andy only reason for asking as it would give the answer for the reason everything else was negative apart from a high yeast count
  20. Neither , when was the last time you gave any medication prior to getting the droppings tested
  21. Geordie I am asking when the last time you treated my friend, not your medication programme, when was the last time you treated?
  22. its very good advice dom, in my opinion it needs to be done after every antibiotic treatment, as after antibiotics yeast levels rise, hence my question to the chap on when was the last time he treated before he sent of the test.
  23. Geordie when was the last time you treated before you sent of droppings?
  24. Wiley

    Chicken Feed
