  1. We caused confusion there Peter, wish I was there it would be off now whatever,
  2. Yes it does look like a tick, not a major problem but wants removing, I use tweezers, grip tightly and pull straight off.
  3. Sad end, thanks for reporting
  4. Thanks for the No. I'll let them know
  5. I don't often get strays but had one yesterday with a contact injury underneath but legs and wings fine, this is a Bl. with a national ring, GB 14 N 94646, I have tried reporting but their stray site is down at the moment, I have three sections of tower scaffolding in a triangle to keep a large box cage on where I put the stray, went out this morning and on return went to feed the birds and hanging dead from the scaffolding was a super looking white mealy, surprised by the ring No. as I'm in South West Wales, SU 14 S 4555 with race rubber, I was gutted as it really was a cracker, it might not have been a winner on the road but it would have taken some beating in the show pen. The two ends of the scaffold weren't attached just pushed near each other which left a gap at the top not much more than an inch and were together at the bottom, somehow it had managed to get it's head one side and body the other, slid down and was trapped, sad end when it was close to being rescued
  6. They certainly choose what grains to eat first and as they don't chew it I presume it's not taste that attracts them

  16. Well done Walter for trying, as you say he was fertile last year only his legs not up to it know so I think your chances sound good. Best of luck with him
  17. Well done all, pigeon people helping out again
  18. My view on y/bird racing is, the more we breed the more they feed and I'm not talking about the pigeons
  19. Walter I never let my youngsters out very early and rarely lose one, this started many years ago when I was building a new y/bird loft, there were 15 of them bursting to get out, when I opened up they came out like greyhounds and off, it took 3 days to get them all back in, they all raced the full y/bird programme and I finished the season with 14 of them left winning the y/bird Fed.averages, so be brave and rely on their built in inteligence
