    I did go last Thurs. to look for something small for the two youngest g/children but couldn't see anything I wanted, this boy,his name is Andy, honest, our daughter and the g/daughter in the pic. bought between them, not at the sales, this was a private buy, nice horse, reg sect. D about 14.2hh.

I don't know of anything you can treat the garden with but I wouldn't worry too much, my dogs have had lots over the years and never had any problems, at least you know what to look out for know, I always run my hand over the dogs and you will soon find anything that shouldn't be there, It's not a big problem, not one to get paranoid about.

A lot about this year Peter, I took two off the head of my Basset Hound last week, they were tiny, the most I have removed at one time was 16 under one of my collies, trusty tweezers every time, never had a problem afterwards, my Father-in Law used the vaseline method, too slow for me, I like to see them gone

  23. They come in many colours Pat from white to black depending on how full they are
  24. If you first noticed it today I'm sure it is a tick as I don't think you would have missed a growth in that position
