Mid to late February this year. Early for me, but trying to see if I can beat the BOP by training early. Don't race YB's. Got to try something different or we'll just keep getting the same.

Try the budgie sites. Don't know any, but I know the budgie men use dimmers.

Mine seem happy enough just now, but I do try to let them out when I'm able to be around. Now because of avian flu it's only for 30 minutes or so, but that seems to be OK. I do have to watch for BOP.

Depends on what they were eating. This time of year it will be mostly small birds, seagulls and crows, etc. Don't think they'll be eating infected birds from the poultry farms. The wild population may be spreading it, but probably not enough of them have it to affect the peregrines.

This was reported last year.

The wind catching the wires and causing them to short together, tripping the circuit. Hopefully that is all it will be. Sometimes they can switch it back on remotely, other times they need to reset a local transformer.
