  1. Roland, I would like to hear your views on the cause of flyaways. Thanks.
  2. Do I think it should be allowed? No I dont I'm sure you could get them done under the Consumer rights act. I would advise they get a brief look into it.

  7. Cock with a big young'un has worked well for me.
  8. Hmm! Sugar, rightly or wrongly I sweeten the tea for pigeons. The way I see it is birds don't eat fruit till it ripens (sweetens) I take it from this they don't like bitter tastes. Anyway it cant hurt none ;D
  9. I think its worth mentioning that the chemistry/hormones of the pigeon may change whilst producing pigeon milk. Whilst the milk may be a great fuel source, the pigeons condition could suffer from these changes.
  10. I would say a hindrance. It as we know is full of goodness (protein) but it has to be manufactured from its own body so I would say at best its only putting back what it has already taken out of itself.
  11. I wish your boss luck Silverdale, keep us informed.

Actually it was a friend that pointed it out to me, he's a 6 foot tall white rabbit called Harvey ;D
  13. The MAFF as it was then tested the Koi carp and found a Herpes virus was the cause of them dying, happened the same time pigeons were dying too, to much of a coincidence.
  14. Birds were tested for para and treated with baytril whilst awaiting test results, they were still falling of the perches, no para found in tests.
  15. We had something similar knocking about around here about 4 years ago, autopsy's done, all that come back was that it was some kind of Herpes infection. At the same time Koi carp were also snuffing it, same findings Herpes infection

    Stress

Underestimate the effects stress can have on pigeons at your peril.
