  3. I agree that the crates could have been designed better as to allow a layer of material on the bottom of the crates but our racing and more importantly our returns have been better since we've used a Geraldy.

    I remember reading this was practised by a some many moons ago, the way agriculture is nowadays with all the chemicals they pump into the land I don’t think It would do them a lot of good.

    The only need for lights is for those that have trouble feeding in the winter months apart from that its not a necessity.

  21. I dont know the answer to you question but if your pigeons started to body moult and start throwing flights like confetti akin to the light system I would be concerned. If I were in your situation I would make up some screens which I could easily place in front of the loft in the evenings and remove in the mornings.
