Well one must remember that Peregrines even are scavengers and like all B.O.P. / Raptors they won't give up on a easy meal.

I feel that the system one has makes a difference and whether one believes in them. Best years I had I never gave them anything. Could barely afford to feed them lol. Just thought that I should because I had some stock birds... Now I feel it is only - for me any way - a way of watching them content picking up around the garden. Cut open a crop and you will see qualz etc. IN all birds whether prisoners or not. How and where it comes from baffles me too. Was told grit was to help with their' digestion. In reality I doubt that very much. Mate and a stepson of mine never chewed any food. Just swallowed it whole. I tried to say it needed the 28 chomps I was led to believe. Asked the doctor - most to back me up, and stop my whining and wringing my hands lol, about it. He said. No problem at all. Can't do any harm as it is the stomach acid that does it job and needs no help at all! Hence animals too.... But cattle have lay down to chew the grud. Rabbits eat it twice etc. Ah but that is grass etc.

Just chuck a couple of handfuls on the patio. They have as and when... when gone or wife has swept up ... I chuck some more down .... Still doesn't stop them pick up every where else lol. Mate won't let them have any after Wednesday as he says extra weight to carry in the races. But where and how Quartz gets in their crop is a mystery.

I agree, full stop, with every sentiment regards the problems of the raptures and B.O.P. However the simple reality of truth is WHENEVER any one wants to make a difference in this regards they are Boo - hooed- called, and had pressure not to! And who by? Why none other than the Fanciers them selves. The very ones waiting for a mythical knight in shiny white armour. Fortunately I don't have this problem at the moment ... Was a Peregrine once settling at a local hotel I hear ... lots of Ferals behind it. But within 2 days it went.

In Canada and Germany (mostly) the first results were favourable ... Till the predators got use to it quickly.

Maybe johnc But then listen to George Bush saying it. There are stacks in fact saying it from the highest in the USA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpcJyn3N5ks Likewise the Death of Bin Ladin ... Well known.Again there is ample proof if one cares to look or listen.

One will also conveniently forget that the IS was funded and set up Via Britain and the USA. Like when we and the USA told and backed the Marshlands to rebel against Saddam saying we would defend them.. He drained the marshes and annihilated them. We and the USA stood by. Mission accomplished. Now we have George Bush admitting that it was the Americans that detonated and controlled the twin Towers. George Bush Snr made $27 million in the first 30 minutes. The only plane that left the USA that day was the one taking Bin Ladens family out AFTER meeting with George Bush Snr only 300 yards away. Nasa now admits man has never gone to the moon. Bin Ladin died of natural causes 7/8 years ago. Fact! Has been killed twice more by the USA... last time was when Barack Barma was way behind in the polls ... he went on to win a second term. Al Queada wasn't invented till the Twin Towers. So of course no one had ever heard of them before then obviously So we maime and slaughter innocence classed as no more than fodder.. Gadaffi plowed back the countries resources to the people. Best water system in the world. Free electric and gas. Oil dirt cheap. Free education at uni level. Borrowing for the poorer was interest free and very low %tage for business etc. Till he followed Saddam and wanted to sale the oil by the Dinera - Gold. Meant the Dollar losing strength and the USA power of using paper money they didn't etc. We have stolen £billins from Iraq. The USA $trillions. We own in one oil pocket behind the Falklands enough oil to supply the world for 200 years. That is a pittance of what we actually own... the USA vastly more. They GAVE us one lot for 10% of profits... 1000's of years worth.

Can't get a mortgage lol ... But some good birds will be bought that's for sure. Mind you can't buy a little of Jock Ellis, mores the pity.

We can't affords Hospital beds, let alone fully functioning Hospitals. Cutting Back constantly. Same as cut backs of the councils, the Police, or affordable housing. We charge tenants £14 for an unused room... Not allowed to build council houses after Thatcher sold many off …. and kept the money.... the list is endless. But we can give India - 3rd riches country in the world, £15 billion plus per year. Billions in oversea aid etc. YET Guided missiles and drones costing £millions is no problem. The long-range strike missile market alone will be worth $13.3 billion over the next 10 years, according to a new report. Weaponry in the military has come a long way from the days of muskets and cannon. Smart weapons with guided deployment technology, lasers and precision enhancement are developed and purchased by organizations across the world -- and cost a fortune. Originally reported by The Economist, guided missiles technology is one of the most expensive sectors in smart weaponry. A single medium to long-range subsonic Tomahawk cruise missile costs roughly $1.5m, and 50kg air-to-ground Hellfire rockets cost an eye-watering $115,000 each. Another member of the family, a shoulder-rocket called the Javelin -- at $147,000 -- can be used to kill individual soldiers that are hiding in bolt-holes. Some cost eh to kill a fellow … or 100's of innocences. But we fire them off by the dozens, hundreds. But surely this is a little expensive when targeting poorly-armed guerrilla forces, as these weapons were often used for in Afghanistan? Syria will be times upon times more expensive. This realization has hit the American forces. A number of smart designs are being developed, using cheaper materials and taking tips from old designs. The March deployment of the APKWS II (Advanced Precision Kill Weapons System) made by BAE Systems, is a perfect example. It is a smart version of a traditional 70mm rocket, but can strike with an accuracy of one meter due to a laser-seeking head that pinpoints a target and alters the missile's fins accordingly. The U.S. military must consider this a bargain at only $28,000 a shot. The U.S. Navy is also on board; upgrading a similar 70mm to create the Low-Cost Imaging Terminal Seeker (LCITS), which has already successfully completed trials. Developed for the sea rather than air, the LCITS uses heat signatures instead of laser technology. As operators are freed from the need to watch a target, several can be fired quickly -- useful if a ship is under attack by multiple forces. However, pride of place goes to the Forward Firing Miniature Munition (F2M2, or Spike missile), developed by the California-based Naval Air Weapons Station. It uses a smart optical-guidance system which can lock on to objects or laser spots, and is powerful enough to destroy light targets. Steve Felix, the Spike Missile project manager, wanted to create a guided weapon using off-the-shelf materials, and the result was a 3kg device the size of a baguette -- a steal at just £5,000. In the current economic climate, military organizations that want to advance their weaponry need to continue in this line of thought. In the face of slashed budgets, the military may enjoy its $1.5 million cruise missiles -- but far more could be achieved if the cost of smart weaponry is kept under control. Exchange one $1.5 million missile for a plethora of $20,000 models. No wonder we love to go to war. Baracka Barmy stated, - it is on YouTube - that the U.S.A. need another 7 wars in 5 years. We are doing everything we can to get the Argentinians to fight us ... no gave up yet by a long chalk. etc. etc. No profit in peace. No profit curing illnesses.

Terrorists eh! Well the reality, truth of the matter is that BOTH sides are calling each other terrorists. Bombing women and children. Destroying the homes and lands is terrorism regardless of any excuse. Retaliations eh! Like back in 1920 when the public were bombed in Spain. Leading to mass destruction of towns and cities all over the world. Vastly killing and maiming those people living in them. A wanton destruction of innocence! In a so called 'Right'. - Meaning no profit in PEACE! Likewise in Syria. Gas and profits at the expense of human life. Simple adage say. A nutter and a few dozen idiots from, say South Glasgow, nip over and set a few bombs off in say. Some suicidal bombers follow suit... say in India. Does that give India the right to bomb Glasgow and ovbliviate Edinburgh. Then Dundee and Thurso etc. brought to ruin because some are supposedly scarper there?! Like Vietnam bomb and slaughter civilians, and never touch the Culprits and thoses needing to be sorted?!

Quote '.....If you look into history, when wars were as frequent as they currently are and of a similar size and intensity,....' is what you stated mate. So now far more wars is the fact plus of a far more intensity, so in relationship the ratio of deaths etc. far far out weigh today of the past. Of an interest though in reality, if you take the 7 billion purported to have lived, add the population of today of 7 billion, there is room and feed etc. etc. for another twice / triple as many, if not quadrupled. There is no profit in peace. there is no profit in curing people. Indeed the internet abounds of the quotes as such from world leaders and their hierarchy.
