When Oil, which doesn't actually belong to the Scots, was 113 a barrel and Now only 43 per barrel. Now, and as then, the Scots get a lot more out than they put in 9 years a go every family in England subsided the Scots £420. It has quadruppled now of course. The gulf in state spending between Scotland and England has hit a record £1,600 per head. Government spending in Scotland averaged £10,212 per person last year – £1,624 per head more than in England. The staggering figures, buried in Treasury documents, reveal the gap increased by more than 15 per cent in only a year. Far far more now of course. According to the Treasury, public spending in Scotland is higher than anywhere else in the UK apart from Northern Ireland. Explanations have included Scotland's relative sparseness and its poor health. But if Scotland is spending beyond its means - and clearly it is - then so too is the UK. Both are running a deficit, the difference between the money a country raises in taxes and the amount it spends and invests. The latest comprehensive snapshot concluded that Scotland was running a larger deficit as a percentage of economic output than the UK average. Do you for a moment think the same isn't here?! Worse or better, the UK government ply money into Scotland ... Just think how much worse it would be if we didn't. When on top of that you would be taxes times over more!

Well it is only some of the people of Scotland that hark on about 'English supremacy' We don't! Indeed I have never ever come across it. So that says it all I guess. The Scot - some or many, MUST THEN automatically take that on board and believe it. But like I say, we don't... Maybe the inferior complex is of their' own doing then. Yes I presume 300 years ago the Lords etc. may thought that ... But not the nation as a whole. Indeed the 'Flower of Scotland' makes us smile and even laugh. What other countries must think lord knows! Gosh when the best that a country can offer - to sing about, is 800 years ago mixed with untruths and stupidity to say the least. So again it is the Scots syndrome that they bring upon themselves. At least the 'Haka' symbolizes a meaning ... A welcome in fact. The Flower of Scotland ... well lol.

A terrible shame. An insult to boot. I have a mate - pretty wealthy - that was moving to Spain. Has helped and given much money and funds, only too pleased to help, and even built a Transporter for the club to train the birds. Then took it upon his self to pay the man for taking the birds Race days. Paid for ALL the petrol etc. etc. Charged the Fed just £70. After a couple of seasons they bought their OWN transporter - second hand- etc. etc. and he only heard a few days before that he and his drivers wouldn't be needed. Then - he has given many birds away, and sponsored Invitations races from his own pocket. When selling up many member moaned that he should give his birds away - bought at great costs. Then would water it down to me after I kicked up a stink about the disgusting behaviour saying 'We meant it would do new Comer a ...'. 5 of us fed members turn up! I didn't want or need any birds ... I bought 5, including section winners parents and the family. I was embarrassed paying only £95! I went and spoke and he said 'Roly don't you dare offer me any more for them birds'! Now he may after 2 yrears be coming back. I hope he does a... and wipes the board with us all.

If costs are say - for example $3billion, then twice as many or 4- 5- 6 paying an equals share means that the more paying in less the cost. Now the fundamental payments would be the same, and only partially more costs added as more cough up etc. An obvious fact. Like a pigeon club that member send to the races. the cost of the federations are the same. More in lesser the share to pay. Any way, I've stirred the pot here as much as I care too. Personally - Though England would be the main benefactors if Scotland Left the U.K. I am more than happy for them to be a part - and self run - country. I believe seriously that in times of troubles and strife ALL parts will be, and are at the grind wheel doing their best. We have great competitiveness gamesmanship. Fabulous banter as it is, and to be honest the majority are happy and pleased to get alongside of each other. You know, UNLIKE THE SCOTS - we here cheer our hearts out supporting the other nations. A simple fact here that your greats in sport are more supported and loved here than every in your home land. The great tenacities of so many Scots have oft brought tears of joys to me in their endeavours to WIN. To be proud of their homelands... MUCH appreciated here. SO in reality I would rather that Scotland stays as part of us in their Country ... Not least for the simple fact that they couldn't afford to go alone, but as a whole it has been good for the last 300 years for all countries. JMO

By the way there isn't, and never has been 'FREEDOM'! a MYTH TO CONTROL THE MASSES. Besides that just show me - out side of the disgusting rich - where and when that has ever been the case. Just think of the Carnage, brutalities and millions of deaths given for the myth and tell me well it is, let alone ever won!!! Pie in the sky. If ever voices from the mass graves could talk eh! A fallacy, no more, for people to give their' all, their lives and limbs, to just make the Rich richer!

What control? Scots can serve in our Parliament. Can block or at best defer. Have held us to bail you out and put money. £billions in so very many things in Scotland. Schools, Universities. N.H.S and Welfare plus vast more. A just what does the bonny land of Scotland put into the rest of the U.K.? Nowt! the rest of the U.K. Sponsor Scotland to a very merry tune so that the living standard is vastly superior to the rest of the U.K. HOME You have your own Parties, which can vote, interfere with Parliament. Nigh as much as we have to put into the E.U.! Give the rest of the U.K. THE VOTE and BYE BYE yea Bonny land....

You know, for get pride and proud to be a Scot just for a moment. The majority want to stay with the U.K. The oil prices are now only a 1/3rd of what they were in the last referendum. The amount of money the money the rest of the U.K. - Just to keep the Scots afloat. Also the 'OIL' north sea mostly belongs to Norway and English investment. So 10% is now really only 4.3pence a Barrel. Plus the real threat that stock piling of Masses barrels world wide means the larger owners of oil world wide - England and America in real terms - will be dropping prices to sale theirs' even more ... beside us building Oil Rigs now down the Norfolk coast. Just how would Scotland replace the £Billions they get now to keep the Welfare, Education, Medics and Hospitals etc. etc. ALREADY losing money hand over fist! Yes Scotland HAS the best living standards of all the U.K. If they do / did a load of pain awaits them. Taxes would rocket. - They would be at the back of the queue for joining the E.U. Yes they are losing money in nigh every public concern supported and financed by them selves and NEEED colossal bungs regularly from England. Does one need to say more. Every export from Scotland is at a maximum or declining. Fact! I note that the Egomaniac doesn't dare to ask for the rest of the U.K. to have a vote! Especially England, or she would get her way ... and the Scots would perish real bad. Just the facts. She knows that there is no way the E.U. would allow Scotland in. Why, well they simply have nothing in cash terms to offer. Greece etc. would enlighten all the member states... they'D say 'Yer aving a Laff ent cher'! So she knows where their bread is butters and it is all just a charade for popularity. She also knows now that if a Brexit vote in Scotland was taken again, most would vote to leave! So she can shoot of from the mouth, whatever may happen and turn it to own advantage saying 'I told you so' wagging and pointing her finger ... Ever so Thank full that she never got her way and yet still able to blame England. So glad that Scotland wouldn't have poverty over night.

Parker ahead of his WBO title defence against Hughie Fury on May 6. Say no more!

GGG is something special. Hard to hurt. Hard to hit. Doesn't know the word Defeat and after that last bout - which was close - he will want to make amends. That was a wake up call and he will have trained harder for that. So GGG inside the distance. Jacobs a good puncher, no two ways about that, but outside of his last 4 opponents they were lacking opponents I fear.

I do too EVERY year as posted, on more than one occasion. Also posted, A Avian Medic told me Parazone regular works wonder. Use Bleach too etc.

True. With Grit, bottle and tenacity. Often the by words of many great sporting Scots.

Final Report On Young Bird Sickness (Ybs) In Pigeons
Roland replied to Ian McKay's topic in Notice Board
Similar here. Permitherin never used it, but that doesn't for a second discard it.. Do fill in every nook and cranny, crack so nothing can get in them. Gordon Chambers told me a mixture of Parazone is great and very beneficial. I use, as stated before Actichlor Plus. Has done wonders for the NHS and hospitals. - Used to use Vikron of the highest -. strength. As one may recall I also use bleach. Paint a thick solution of Garden Lime all over every once or twice. Now mostly a often Actichlor Plus spray EVERY where! On birds if THEY GET IN WAY OR NOT SHIFT OF THEIR PERCHES / NEST BOX.in way. I also believe - again as often spouted - Good constitution and immune system is the most important. Now, in that case HAVE my birds had Y/BS? Has their' constitution and immune system dealt with it in as much so that it never became full blown? Thus, as such now, ALL the birds bred from them have their' own built in immunity? One thing for certain, and not meant in any slight or derogative way, We all look listen and take aboard what seem to make sense to us. Hence agree to a lesser or larger extent and move on. Some sadly try to Boo - Hoo others and their' ways and beliefs. But the fact is WE all NEED TO KEEP LEARNING ... FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR PIGEONS. No Steve, I'm not saying I knowingly have had y/bs sickness, indeed 99% sure I never had - fortunately -But there is as posted above a element, I believe that all of us that haven't, have had the birds to take it in their stride to some extent and built - like all immunities - their own defences. JMO. -
Nary a one unless breeding as STOCK BIRDS. Then an out cross every time for racing.
-
Just read up on it and why it was allowed etc. No wonder Jones, and many more managers are not happy ... But the more powerful once will be able to take it their stride and utilise it. The England head coach was left seething by Italy’s tactic of not committing to the ruck, meaning they could flour the offside rule and leaving defenders free to run around the breakdown without fear of being penalised. … a concerted attempt to disrupt English possession by refusing to commit to the breakdown. It was a tactic that meant the ruck, or supposed ruck, was never formed, and thus no offside line being formed. Yet now beware, because England- without doubt have weight and arguably the best forwards to run straight through the centre, which of course they will. Likewise the All Blacks and Australia. The old Welsh side of 2013 would have hammered any side trying that. Just took the English half a game to get over it ... However it will bring into effect many other scenarios which will change the face of Rugby as we now know it.
-
Nigh everyone was miffed with the Ref yesterday. No excuses, he and Italy brought in, with the refs permission, blatant cheating. I believe the quote regards the BBC suing the Rugby Union (and the RBS)for their' money back for destroying and stopping a rugby game SAYS IT ALL. Also now! There WILL BE great controversies when all others teams stand in front of the opposing teams players in the line thus stopping the player from passing to a team mate. Also again standing blatantly in an off side position in scrums. Plus the ruling like trying to let Italy kick off again AFTER boot the ball out of play, THEN try after being told it was put out by a Italian THEN tried to give a scrum. Need one go on? Yes the Ref was a disgrace and no other word for it, a blatantly bias cheat! Now no sour grapes here I can assure you. Was a learning curve which had to be over come, which the English did superbly in the second half. Haven't read any reports yet --- just up lol, but will do now.

Yep. If I was a jock I'd wager a little too. But with hope and pride, .... Knowing full well I was throwing my money a way. But Like I say Scotland are the best for a long time and shining, with a brim full confidence.
-
Spot on. Dafra only interested, regards pigeons - is / was for the genuine public and their concerns regards pigeons and racing. Same still, but can't see it affecting our racing personally now. Times have moved on. Hasn't affected egg sales eh!
-
and Scotland the brave too in beating Wales yesterday. Best they have been since the Gavin Hasting days I believe. Full of confidence and quick passing. Said that they could probably finish above Wales in the 6 Nations ... that is still on. Above Ireland? well um ... to been seen, but quite possible eh! Well done you Jocks.

A nice few posts there. Much truth too... Pac man, will / would be too busy for Amir. Good earner for both. Amir's having a 'Glass chin' is a fact. Trouble with Amir he boxes well then listens to silly pals who egg him on to Knock him Out'. Lacks the punching power for top boys. Glass chins have been a down fall of many... But there was / is many greats that have had them, and have them too today. BUT they aren't stupid enough to be hit, especially going for Knock out -- that in Khans case is also a none possibility. Family and friends ought to butt out and let Amir's ego to be squashed ... then he will / would be a 50% boxer / fighter for sure. JMO

Possibly. But Pacquiao gives away £millions every year. Gave away £4 million over a few days before Xmas not so long back ... Maybe needs more for political status and as his music career doesn't seem to be taking of to any extent. Plus he apparently hasn't such a lot left.
