Chatrace realistic and fair.

Canada and other places have to have the padds behind the upright so it is in and can't come out before it is timed! Many are the birds that hit the board and lit upto the roof tops and hang about. Manual again can't do that, and those that do, and are able haven't HOMED or legally timed in. Many the birds that have a look through the traps and come out, walk around a mite or hit the house, when nervy or spooked. I hope that the ET's here are run properly and not to give even more lee way to the ET's!

I saw something I have never seen before, wouldn't of thought it would actually happen, but then thinking on I see the logic, and why not. Was going past some allotments when I saw a Sparow Hawk fly up. In it's claws was a Worm. So I suppose they eat when and whatever when te oppertunity arises.

lol, always told that when all all birds come on the 'Drop' then your loft is coming into form, so Chatrace. everytime you are cooking wit gas I suppose. Must admit that I, like most others, seem to get them nigh altogether when I'm in with a shout. If ones and two's I know, and am behind being proped up via Bruno. Very true Bruno ... or they want their cake and eat it. All in all, in a different time / place I would welcome the ET. It is just realy that I believe it is really grossly unfair for those not abl, whether through costs, old habbits ot loft position. Bruno I believe what the PRO Et brigade choose to ignore are the simple facts, IF 6 fanciers birds drop tgether and all werre manual then there would be 5 OR 6 different names n the top six. If only one has a ET then there is Only one name in the first 6... the one with the ET. You worry me, surely no one can be that niave, or do you believe us to be so stupid! The first TEN WERE the same time as you very well know. And others a fraction of a yard etc. But then you know that like everyone else tha visits this topic. Simple and real. Now the simple realism, IF 3/ 4/ 5/ fanciers say all hit the Allotments at the same time, all have 6 birds arriving together, he the one that has the ET takes the first 6 places, short sweet and simple. Have to admit I am real pleased, besides a pld bird getting in I have seen a fight in the loft when pairing. I left the hens from last seaon in the section I wanted tem to breed. Due to outside influencies like Ferals, I put them together early, the latter part of last week! I just let the cock birds in, and they done the rest. Had two cock birds yesterday occuppying a spare nest box, so I chose for them and closed the spare 3 boxes down. Will admit that I am only mating yearling cock birds and they hadn't claimed a box before, but I have found that this far outwieghs attempts of introducing the hen to the Cock bird in this regards.

I'd start by letting them know where boundries are set from the offset. When the boundries are broken down and no action, penalising, is done, then resect is tossed out the window. When parents give up on their kids, and pass the buck onto schools etc. ythen they have given up the right to be parents. Schools can't even chuck them out when they are disruptive and prevent others willing, wanting to learn, are being impeded. Those parents that aren't concern are the ones of course who kick up when expelled for a time, AND WHY! because they have lost their baby sitter! My son is a teacher for problem kids.... If they have a go at the teachers and lose, the parents are up in arms backing the kids. Worried about having them too long and impeding what hey want to do. Like when they get took out of the Bingo palace by police and told their kids have been running riot and have been taken home and waiting for them! Or are at the station awaiting to be picked by them What ! Spoil teir bingo, kids soon are sorted lol because then they are peeved big time.

Remember well the 'Villians' that were wiser always said 'Work out the price you pay if caught first ... then wiegh up id the time fits the crime. Today CRIME does pay and well everyone knows it. I often feel like sorting something when some one has hurt ones I care about for instance, but the moral groud has to be breached first. Inevidiably I let the course run. Yes I have the hole in the guyburning, and for two pins... But common sence prevails. As to what extent that is the case obviously depends... But I'd no more think of retailing against some one who has put the time in and effort. And certainly wouldn't harm any living creature in spite or otherwise. Yes if I was to eat what I killed then that in it's self justifies the means, like Fat Stock have a goose or turkey whatever. But most peoples minds have principles and very few indeed reap worthless revenge or an act of distruction through jealousy say! Many may pack up, others try harder and the likes of me are content to be Poultry keepers and the odd win is a bonus. Winter months to fuel dreams, and club nights to see who can tell the best porkies lol. And this is the crux of most and their feeling over ET's.... those able are taking advantage over thos unable. Pure and simple in 99.9% of cases.

True Bruno... but didn't misbehave at them games no more. Yes Gang Fever can be rife when ripe. But you know, everyone is born with a conscious and even as mites, when told say for instance, no more sweets, when they sneak one WE didn't knowuing it was wrong and did our best not to get caught. He has just finished building his loft, and was to have 6 pairs of old ones, and several of us were going to breed him some y/b's. But says, this year, next year it will be, so he'd rather not start. And he is one that could wll aford the ET. Like every thing else, horses for courses and everything in the right place.
