It is a fact they fly down the coast. Some breaking for Louth etc. - Distance birds lol This is depending on wind strength. Though loved to release in any wind with east in it, they will / have released in very strong winds that have blown them over the continent. Also, though proven, when released in July - as many residents confirm is far more stable weather wise - returns have been far better and with higher velocities. The rubbish that the nearer to the 22 June for more sunshine and longer days is absolute rubbish. A they don't want, let alone need hotter weather. AND b. Better weather and 20 minutes less time is a bonus first and A nonsense THAT 20 MINUTES IS NEEDED. Indeed in July they were timing in at Noon! But then that never sits well with the East Coast Committee lol having said that it is a good day bird for sure inland and especially down London and south coast. Arguably Lerwick is traditionally the worlds hardest race, that's for sure.

Lety them bask in the sun eh! lol

An old farm hand put me wise once... Cover the roof with sacks(Hessian) and hose it down regularly. I also once took store regards the chimneys like used in piggeries and Battery hens etc. The higher the chimney the better the draw of course. So I done one massive one. the whole roof was over a mesh roof. No matter how much, or little wind / air, it cooled the inside out and kept it fresh smelling.

Maybe. But think I would mate to completely unrelated birds that have 'Homed' or flew well. Had a cracking cock bird. won as a y/b then twice to two different lofts. Won Thurso and Bergerac about 2- 3 weeks apart. Never ever bred piperly dip. Mated to the best and worst for several years... never anything. Others thought a waste of time trying. Yet they bred good birds and often- over the years I, like many others can trace their good birds down to a line or two of a couple of pairs.

Is great weather here at Kettering.

Weevils are a type of beetle belonging to the superfamily Curculionoidea. They are usually small, less than 6 mm (0.24 in), and herbivorous. About 97,000 species of weevils are known. Find the source of the weevils. Although pantry pests can fly, they usually like to stay near their food source. If you've noticed small reddish brown beetles, weevils, in your flour, they may also be in other foods in your pantry.

We get weevil in flour... why told to how to store and NOT too long. Think Tommy Bhoys has a share in these sales lol. Fact is fact. Never mind the little print. We / I can only speak the truth Many farms offer to resort and bag for free Tommy. Maybe we are fortune that there are a few farmers that look after us here about... and at a great saving too

Maybe a moan or two. However, then the reality is it deservedly as such surely. Hands up who accepts paying V.A.T. for instance! Farmers moan every year to hike up costs. Too dry, too wet, Not enough time to get crops in … they always moan and get the crops in also. This, after having ploughed two crops coming through and being paid full price! Sell enough for their books and then sell stacks on roadside tax-free. Too many 'Sellers of pigeon food jumping on the wagon. A fair profit is garnered and accepted by nigh every fancier. They charge feed at say £14; 20 and add 20% illegally V.A.T. Farmers grow and clean also. Tic bean well below half the price. Farmers pay workers, fuel and for the seeds etc. and sale and make a good profit at £7 for 25K. Yes, 25K! Wheat and Barley £4;50 to £5! Yes, let's all go to the farmers. Whose being ripped off with these suppliers prices. Us, because of not moaning. Yeah, right! They come out with the baloney of selling any cheaper and be a waste of time stocking. Answer 'Keep your blue contaminated bags and we will go directly to the Farmers! WHERE they get it! Farmers would love it! Our pockets would like also!
-
There was a time when nigh all fanciers bought Wheat and Barley straight from the farmers. Set them well during the winter months. Then some farmers grew and sold many other crops that were ideal for the fancier — both in price and goodness. Indeed many a hard day, smash, or distance races were won on such feeds -- Was a time when acorns were collected and fed to useful purpose just after the war. To the good! Then much came about as the wisdom of doing so. That it was most likely that mice and rats droppings were being eaten alongside the feed- Let me state here, and no pigeon would peck up as such; that it had probably been urinated all over! Scaremongering! Maybe, and most likely. Remember when stockings were used for 'Polishing'. Lol, you couldn't make it up. So the reality is and was, and still is that a considerable percentage of fanciers still use farm food, bought straight from the farm. I bought straight from the farm. Nicely bagged and cleaned Tic beans at £6 25 a bag! Think it is £7: 50 a bag now. Yes, the farmers clean it too. I used to bring back loads for club mates. Other clubs do the same. Just where does one thing the bags one buys at £15 plus from stores is grown! No brainer I guess... but for some perhaps 'Farms'! Funnily enough, but not funny is that the only time I had a problem regards feeds was from a very well known supplier. Bought a bag of Maples on a Saturday as I had run short that weekend. Via Monday, I had pigeons falling down ill. So I went to Loughborough to an excellent Avian Vet. Took two that had had to be culled and two on death's door for autopsies. I asked him to do another test for salmonella, which he assured me they didn't have. Said that the signs showed that the birds have been in excellent condition but had been in contact with yeast! Allowed 0,03% these had nearly 33% Iron nigh the same. Went to pay him and took a sample bag of the maple peas. Long story short was that the maples had in yeast. Nearly £300 later I was much wiser. Only ever bought two bags of a 'Name' again. Moreover, that was because I wasn't up to driving at the time.

Nephew texted me last night. Said he had just watched the A.J. fight and thinks A.J. will probably never fight again. summed it up as the 'Man' was beaten out of him. Well put I thought …. not much man though stood up I feel. Pack up? Think his main problem will be restore a 'Face'. No not pride, as he showed he lacked that very well when looking for the floor. Yes will go in the ring again... will need a lot of prompting I fear. Fight Ruiz again! Why? a never win there... no a few lesser opponents and has been for a few quiddies to slink away with.

Former F1 driver Jolyon Palmer, who left Renault during the 2017 season, is part of the BBC team and offers insight and analysis from the point of view of the competitor. I've been at odds with the Formula 1 stewards before - both during my career and after it - but this time I'm in complete agreement. Sebastian Vettel deserved his five-second penalty in the Canadian Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver had driven a perfect weekend, until his mistake on lap 48 of 70. But in that moment he simply cracked under moderate pressure from Lewis Hamilton and it cost him the race. By the letter of the law, Vettel was guilty. He either crowded another driver off the circuit - Hamilton into the wall on the exit of Turn Four, to the point where the Mercedes driver had to anchor on the brakes to avoid a collision. Or, as his defence said, his natural momentum took him across the full width of the circuit. But in that case he is guilty of rejoining the circuit in an unsafe manner, as he was not in full control of his car, to the extent that he ran Hamilton off the road in an unsafe manner. One of these scenarios has to be correct. If he was forced to run all the way into Hamilton, that's not safe. If he wasn't, then he deliberately did it, and that's not fair and deserves a penalty. You can't have it both ways, and you need to have it both ways to avoid the penalty here. Canadian GP: Sebastian Vettel's massive if understandable sulk Vettel criticises F1 after penalty Hamilton wins in Canada after Vettel penalised Whether the rules are right is a separate issue

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/boxing/exclusive-anthony-joshua-will-never-be-the-same-again-says-promoter-bob-arum/ar-AACCXna?ocid=spartandhp I believe anyone interested in boxing reads this. Not because I was saying the same before hand … but he sums it up a treat.

Well Delboy, as y6you and nigh everyone has experienced you can take two baskets for training. Second baskets release 15 minutes after waiting for first batch to clear. Then have totally different results... often the second release home ages before the first release say. Indeed one lot home well, the other drips and drabs. Go figure ...

Southgate 'incredibly proud' after 'painful' Netherlands defeat England manager Gareth Southgate says he is "incredibly proud" of his players after their 3-1 extra-time defeat by the Netherlands in the semi-final of the Nations League. Is he for real! Strewth. If they had gone down fighting, chasing and MADE the Netherlands work and fight for their win... yes ok, maybe. Yeah, ok they have excuses 'they were still tired from their hard season playing football. Were rusty having not played for three weeks and on and so forth it goes'. Get real! They were outplayed and lacked the DESIRE as their opponents did! The Netherlands had also played a 'Hard season' and were rusty and tired lol. But the wanted the win!
-
That's for sure: Netherlands 3-1 England: Gareth Southgate will not abandon style despite errors Southgate 'incredibly proud' of England after semi-final defeat! He must be joking or … Thick! Oh sorry playing the media game eh! Well that won him a title at least ... Most likely the only one ever , a sad lol. England boss Gareth Southgate says he will not abandon his playing principles despite the errors that cost his side a place in the Nations League final. Mistakes by John Stones and Ross Barkley led to two extra-time goals for the Netherlands after the sides drew 1-1 in a reasonable time in Guimaraes. But Southgate was adamant his side are capable of playing possession football. Proud! I cringed. Maybe Gareth needs a little understanding there! First, you have to 'GET' the ball... and THEN keep it! (Yep keep it but not too long as to not to score lol). The side I'm afraid is no more than a trumped-up media side. A side that can only score from DEAD ball situation 78% of the time. Stones has undoubtedly been the most over-excited of all time. Never played a game without making at least two bad errors! Fact. Ok, Walker got some flak. Why....! Because he was spending too much time covering for Stones. Same as most of the back line Moving out of position to cover Stones. That proves their confidence in Stones! Stones is renowned as a ball-playing centre-half, the sort his club manager Pep Guardiola loves. Yet the Manchester City boss preferred Vincent Kompany alongside Aymeric Laporte to close out the Premier League title win.

There was a heavyweight boxer, not that long ago, an English boy, that was superlative. Arrogant yes, but sheer class. Seemed any weak points would easily be hidden or toughened up. Was a few clamouring for his signature … But he up set some powers in the game and hence never got a trainer / licence etc. Indeed he earned good money as a sparring partner till he realised that the situation would never change, and he packed up. true. The 'Voice said ' Don't ned you, you will never box professionally. WE CAN make money with ***** *****! That, as they say was that! and it was. Yes they can create and make, and ruin who they like or suits. personally, I like a lot of others, said in regards the Olympic Gold Got would never had been if not in London. I, for one certainly was glad he got it … but felt that the Italian out pointed him. But A.J. will be back, will make a fortune more too... and good luck to him.... But will never ever convince me he was / is world class.

Much truth and common sense there YOUNG JOE, that's for sure. I think, personally, Fury would psych him out. However, I also believe A.J in a couple of years WILL beat Fury easily if both around. For, I feel A.J. would be a bit too good for Fury ability wise. However, he'd need a heart transplant. As one knows who's been in the game, you can't give anyone heart/bottle/ bravery. Nor strengthen a 'Glass Chin. However, a 'Glass chin can, as has often been often, protected. Indeed many worthy champions had glass chins or other weaknesses. However, they were kind enough to shield them. A, J. will never be good enough to stand up and be counted in regards to the heart. Yes, will / could look good beating lesser opponents and make money. Even kid / conn the fans. As you will know, Joe, A. will be B. B. will beat C. and yet C will beat A. I think, Fury did well against Wilder, right, but would be easily stopped I believe if he ever got back in the ring with Wilder.
-
Now A.J. spouts 'Anthony Joshua confirmed his intent to enforce an immediate return fight with Andy Ruiz Jr, admitting he was so confident in the run-up to his astounding defeat he had not bothered asking whether a rematch clause was in the contract'. Absolute rubbish. He means 'I never want in the ring with him again … unless he is on walking stick'! His management know, as we all do, he would never ever win against him. His bottle is really and truly shot. Mind the media will get good 'Pay Days' for him and his manager!
-
Just watched Josh carefully again. After he hit Andy Ruiz Jr with that left hook, then went for him he was surprised to find Andy Ruiz Jr coming at him, throwing rocks and in his face … as he continued to do. Joshua's face told every one then he was looking for the floor... bottle went.

If, anything is, has been proven over the last 30 years, it is when fighters (So - called) merited their places, it is so very often the hype and media come first. Very much detrimental to the so called sport. Examples like Hatton picked old have been. The first real opponent was Mayweather, which of course was a good earner to retire on! This after ducking the likes of Witter for years. Calzaghe was spouting how he wanted to best Marciano's unbeaten record, after dodging many. Indeed a long, long list. Good Management? Ma\ybe. But not suitable for the fans who are being conned out of 'good money'. Not least Froch. Froch who sat aside for many years respectfully waiting and pleading his chance at the title. The Calzaghe picked several opponents to get that record as it meant so, so very much to him Comes the Boxing authorities stood up - at last - and said he MUST fight Froch next! So he retired! Then Joe had the audacity, the nerve to called Froch everything from the safety of the Papers and media. Ok, it was to save face-saving ploy and a pretend for fans who knew no better! Saying he 'Wasn't there to be dictated to, as to who and when he was to fight. Struth, the best thing he ever did was get sheltered from the real fighter. What titles DIDN'T Hatton win! Any parts of British. The British, The European!. Moreover, why! Only one answer to why and that is 'Because'! Because Witter was in the way! Then had the cheek to say he wouldn't give Witter a 'Pay Day'! So Witter said 'Winner take all fight, and when he won, he would give it any charity of his choice. So ... Son - in - law went to the U.S.A. with my daughter to see him fight etc. Posed and chattered got his autograph etc. Went to Cambridge to see him giving a talk at great expense. Got lumbered with a great fighter that fought for a world title. Met up with him a few days later. He said 'Roly, I never believed you regard Hatton and your views. Which was ' He earns a crust, gives his all against lesser opponents... but a duck and diver - However, when the very first thing Hatton said was, and repeated, ' Don't ask me any questions regards Junior Witter as I won't talk about him'. Did Hatton earn his money? Yes, of course. Well managed and 'Earned' the right especially as he put 'Bums' on seats. Yes, Witter, the hitter was boring in contrast. Great boxer and hitter... Too good for his own good. Indeed I could quickly write similar for very many fighters. Many also too good to get the chance of a title shot

Can't say on that Georgie. Was a time when it was banned. We were getting two swapping the titles between them. But it does seem so today. P.s. I don't think in the slightest - personally - it was fixed. Underestimated certainly. But the main problem I believe was that Joshua hadn't been in rough seas before. Should have had some bodies with air in that wanted to fight … Yes, had a couple that tried to resist him, but they lacked the class and capabilities to do him any harm. Fodder is easy to manage... But sometimes they haven't read the same mandate.

Great. Well pleased for Tony. A true pigeon man and a gentleman.

Laura Muir! Whatever she may lack, is hidden and made up for tenacity and bottle. I must be her number one fan lol... Pity it can't be bottled! Gosh Josh would buy bottle after bottle lol.
-
Just last week I posted regards Joshua having have fought no Journeymen! Josh hadn't fought any. He only fought has - been or opponents who caved in. Not so good ones, who only came for the money - with weak chins. Lesser ones who would have been outboxed. O.k. However he needed ones who would have given Joshua some hassle - Journey Men! He wasn't fed any! Most likely so he would look bad. So when a more than decent boy got in his face and hurt a might, he hadn't the experience, hadn't the know how to sort it out. Sorry, but he should have been in with some of such, but lesser ability well before then. Would have toughened his mental state and heart. Now! if he had the heart, the bottle of Laura Muir, then he would have fought and gave his all instead of letting being perplexed and looking for a way out. Of course he did! When a boxer spits his gum shield out it says it all... Looking for the Ref to stop it! the ref gave him ample time. Tried to get him to put his gum shield back in. Asked him if he wanted to carry on. Eyes and refusing the gum shield told the Ref he wanted out!
