Sent 1 doo and timed him this morning at 8.28

Sent 1 doo and got him at 10.27 today

My first toss was last Sunday at 10.30 @ approx 6 mile took 44 and by 6.30 i had 7, by the time i shut the loft 22.00 i had 21 however at 6pm Elaine said i am putting all the sharp knifes out of your sight lol. To date i have 38/44 and two are cut an burst with one only having 2 tail feathers (only had to collect 2), i have went back to the same spot twice and all birds have returned so yesterday i went 2 mile further then again today and all birds home. With this section i am going to give them as many short tosses as possible up to 20 mile max and see how the perform during racing as they have been flying out around the loft for about 3 month and flying for 2 or 3 hours every night. I had one of my drivers going up to Aberdeen that week and the bird was re-united with the owners, however i had my young birds out today and yep this wee hen is back in my loft tonight. Scotty M
