  18. The NEHU are taking only NEHU rung birds at the moment, they can be handed in to the transporter when it comes to collect the birds for the race, it has to be in a box with the ring number clearly marked on the outside of the box. Its then a very similar arrangement to the scottish birds except there isn't a charge as far as I know - never had one back that way :'( , However, I personally wouldn't use the stray centre.
  19. No, they are part of the NEHU, and accordingly - their rules (not RPRA -ie NEHU RULE -not allowed to use telephone no. rings, (for National races) don't have to wingstamp - this needs changing )
  20. We are going there this week. the only reason we are not going next week is because it is in use by others and the site is usually churned up and unsuitable for 14 transporters to get on, I don't think the UNC use RPRA liberation sites , though I could be wrong, our Folkestone site changed this year at very short notice- about 2 weeks before the race ! Maybe BIGK, could enlighten us as he is on a committee.
  21. The NEHU has one at Hartlepool ( for instance) , its a holding area for stray/lost pigeons
  22. My geography is not very good - so I have no idea of the whereabouts of Midlothian - but it was a fancier who collected the birds today, ALL Scottish birds, not just his own - or own feds birds, collected them whether they had SU rings on or GB, and he was collecting plenty, I was about his third collection, and he had about 60 pigeons, he was going through to Darlington to collect 55-60 pigeons from Micky Brennans corn store - and had a few more collections after that. I hope that he is home or well on his way home by now, as he has had a very long day, and I hope that all the strays will soon be tucked up in their own lofts, they are in need of a good rest and a bit of pampering. All the fanciers that I spoke to on the phone were delighted to get their pigeons reported, Good Luck to you all for the rest of the season :K)
  23. I got pigeons in from both races, in Redcar - it would appear to me that they clashed with North Road pigeons - but you can never be sure.
  24. Don't actually know where it is, but I do know we should also have been there next week, but can't be because there is a 'fair' on the site, so wherever the fair is next week, is where the UNC liberate from - hope this is of help.
  25. :P ;D I find the publicity a little embarassing :B :B
