Full of info this place tonight lol I always thought it was the wren until last X as holidays when I was sheltering under the conifers at our yard and this little thing started dancing about the branches only a few feet away from me not a bit scared at all promoting me to look it up and it was the gold crest the yard is surrounded by trees and is a safe ish haven for the birds amongst many we get the gold crest from Europe and the swallow from Africa quite amazing in my opinion.

Out of curiosity who knows what the smallest bird in Europe is.

Blue tits great tits street ears black birds crows magpies wrens wood pigeons starlings the odd visit from the wood pecker and the sparrow hawk I've even had the sea gulls steeling my fish from the pond in the past I always have a good selection of food out for them canny beat sitting watching them all taking their turn at the dinner table as well as the feeders and table I scatter some grain and meal worm on the ground for the wrens and robins

Think I'll be going just for the day though,going to pick a hen out for a bird I bought recently and go down for the sale. I think

Lol defo wasn't buzzard I saw but that might have been the reason the eagle owl was there as 2 or 3 pairs of buzzards nest in this area.

Cracking news cracking looking birds and like Lanarkshire lad I saw one it was in the perchy pond area in Wishaw 30 ft away early in the morning as soon as it seen me it was off.

Sad to say I Just heard that Gareth's mother passed away today and on behalf of my family and I we would like him to know our thought are with him and his family at this sad time.

Just got a message from my sis who puts a lot of her own time into organising the Doo dance every year now and for the first time probably it has had to be cancelled for the time being due to support and not enough tickets sold shocking is an under statement. She will now be trying to organise a night in the Doo club probably be a mad rush for tickets lol

If you manage your cleaning out you should have room in your bin for what you scrape out , I didn't know that was in councils plans if it is your right there will be rubbish and vermin every where I was walking the dogs up the park last year and a transit pickup came into the field dumped his load right in the fn middle of the field fn brainless .

Fly tipping is number one on my hate list but this takes the biscuit this morning a friend of mine who is a parks warden for north Lanarkshire sent me a text saying that someone has dumped a few bags of pigeons shxt at the entrance to the perch pond area at Waterloo Wishaw that's about 500 meters from my lofts so people think that it's mine lol however unlucky or maybe lucky for the stupid *expletive removed* who dumped it they also dumped feathers with their wing stamp phone number on it lol she wouldn't give me the number but said the person has got until Monday to clear the mess up and if not they will be getting a visit from the police/ council so I think this is a fare warning to an *expletive removed* who has just lowered the tone for all of us.
