    Lib Line

As secretary of our club I get a call from the Fed.Sec.telling me when the birds are liberated,I then call everyone who as sent to give them the information costs them 10p.
  7. Dont want to start all the arguments going again about wether eyesign is rubbish or not,but it is the only thing I am interested in looking at if I buy a bird for stock, that is of course if I can handle the bird, dont ask me to explain what I am looking for because I couldnt explain it to anyone, all I can say is it works for me.
  8. You havnt sent me one this year Gail.

  14. Can you remember what year this was,I remember sending and think I clocked next day,the result was published in the BHW If I remember someone may have that copy if we know the year.
  15. You have missed out the letter on the GB rings please ammend then we will be able to tell you which club the ring was registered to.
  16. Not sure I know they have far better results when they made a wooden floor,I think it may have been something to do with the damp,I believe they also lined it out as well.
  17. When you switch on just run a spare ring or one of the birds over the pad just to make sure its working O.K.
  18. I take it he as had his rings allocated to the birds if so just place the Speedy clock if thats what he as into the holder and switch on,the pad or pads have to be linked and numbered to the clock also if this hasnt been done, when the birds have arrived if he presses O.K.on the clock he will get a differant looking screen which he can view the birds by pressing the 2 orange buttons on the front of the clock. It didnt use to be possible to print off the training unless you had the print manager software unless this as changed,I very rarely use mine on training so not to sure about that.
  19. Couple of lads in our club used their garage and raced very well to it but they had trouble to start with because of the concrete floor, they made a wooden floor inside it which did the trick.
  20. Would expect it with virtually gale force west winds, they are probably all over London.
  21. MIDLAND CONTINENTAL CLASSIC F.C.Up at 7.00 from Saintes with a very light North West Wind.
  22. Just off the phone speaking to the owner,it was lost last weekend from Thurso flying with the Essex and Kent combines, terrible race with only a few birds home, they sent 11 this one is the only one they have heard about, someone else rang them and they understand that the bird as been released.

    Help Wanted

If you have the ring list look through and find a secretary which you might think is close to where the bird is,they will usually help or get a club member who may be closer to pick it up,allways a good way if the birds injured,I am a club sec and have done this for fanciers many times.
  25. I understand what you mean if it gets reported but to be able to race them they must be registered with the RPRA in your name,I allways ring the RPRA first and ask if a Belg,or any other foreign rung bird is registered with them if I get one in,saves making costly calls to Belgium etc, mind saying that I spoke to 3 differant people in Belgium the other week about a stray before I found out it was registered at the RPRA.
