Is there anyone else on here yet seems strange am I even in the right place.

This would be suicide you only have to see this year the people who dont have ETS complaining that they have to buy rings which really are made for the people with ETS,just think of the outcry if non ETS peopls had to pay for a life ring with the chip in it.I also think it would be more expensive for people with ETS because the ring would be put on a youngster from the beginning and you would lose more rings,at least now you can train them before you put the ETS rings on.

Although the way I interpret the rule you would have to have bob wires on each tunnel so that the bird is not timed before its confined,but then Alen Gibb interprets it another way.

My sensors are inside the loft but with having bob wires at the back of the trap the birds can come back out after being clocked so to comply with the new rule I have put the bob wires on the front,so the bird goes through the bobs onto the sensor and on into the loft but cant get back out.

We have Bricon and Unikon in our club but I NEVER mix the two systems,Iknow they are supposed to be compatable but I would still keep differant systems apart.

Put up a picture of your trap surely it cant be that difficult to bring it within the rules,I have 3 differant types that were O.K. before and all I have done is put a row of bob wires at the front of each one so that the bird is now confined when it is timed.

Check with the RPRA because when they advised me I told them at the library what I wanted and had no problems at all.

Last time I needed one which we didnt have of the area the member was in I went to the local library and got a copy off theirs for 10p.This actually was suggested by the RPRA.
